Things are going pretty good, and I don't have any complaints so far. I'm taking things slow at the moment because we have a few players who have let me know that have limited access to their computers for a while, which I appreciate. As soon as I know that things are back to normal, I'll pick up the tempo of the game, you've all had plenty of time to settle in. I'm still on the lookout for another player or two to round out the squad, but we have a good mix for now and I don't forsee having to use too many npc's to fill the gaps in the near future.
Cabal, Unwurthy: I'd appreciate it if you could add your characters to the cast thread. It makes things a little easier for me to remember and I'm sure it helps out everyone else. Thanks
Any questions, comments, complaints, etc? Email or private message me, or if it's something that affects the whole group stick it up here.

I 'm way overdue for one of these, so here goes. The game is rolling along well still, but I regret to announce we've had aour first casualty. Snowball will (at least temporarily) be an NPC as Unwurthy has life issues that take precedent and has asked to back out, at least for now. I have alot of ideas for the cat so I intend to keep him around and should Unwurthy be able to rejoin us, the bottlecap will still be here. On a more positive note, we will have a new player, Athos, joining the game shortly. I'll introduce his character soon so he can join the mayhem.
Other than that, I don't have much more to say, and I apoligize for being a little slow posting lately, work keeps getting in the way of mygaming time. As always, any questions, comments, complaints, etc? Email or private message me, or if it's something that affects the whole group stick it up here.

I don't use many house rules, but I do when it comes to perc rolls. Why? because mine are much simpler than PalGames rule (in my opinion, anyways).
Roll 1d20 and add an IQ modifier for high level (example: 17=+1, 18=+2, 19=+3, etc)
To determine if the check is made, I use the following table: Simple = 4 or better Easy = 8 or better Moderate = 12 or better Difficult = 16 or better Very Difficult = natural 19 or 20
A natural 1 is a failed roll, regardless of difficulty and bonuses
By doing it this way, I don't have to worry about setting penalties and modifiers depending on the circumstances and it simplifies GMing the situation for me.

To clarify, bonuses are determined by adding +1 for each IQ point above 16, sorry for any confusion because of my wording.
Additional bonuses from optical enhancement, etc, are added if the device/spell/whatever adds a bonus to strike. For example, a HUD system that gives a +2 to strike would also apply the same +2 to perc rolls
Hope this clears things up, sorry for any confusion

Is it time for another of these already?
Work, freaky weather and travelling has ground this month to a halt. Hopefully it's just a glitch and things can get back to normal since the pace of the game is starting to pick up and I've got lots more twists planned.

Can you believe it? Six months already! And we've almost made it through day 1 ;D I'm sure everyone has noted we've had another cast change, with Athos disappearing and Renegade joining the chaos. Though I hate to do it, I'm assuming control of Lt. Gantry for the time being. Otherwise things are up to a good pace. Great RPing everyone. On another note, I want to wish a safe and happy holidays to everyone, players and lurkers alike. I'm not expecting the pace to hold throughout the holiday season, but I'll keep responding to everyones posts. I know you're all getting tired of hearing this, but... Wow, have I ever been dragging ass on this. Guess it shows I hate doing these.
In case my absense hasn't given it away, my comp time has been limited alot lately. Luckily you guys picked up the slack and have all taken it up a couple notches with the interaction and you hardly even needed me except to chime in to add to the story, which I've tried to do as quick as I could, with less than stellar results.
Any questions, blah, blah, blah, you know the drill

WAy,way way overdue
We survived the slow summer, and for hanging with it through the lull, everyone that was here for can level up. Sorry Meirin, you'll have to wait for your XP.
