*she gives one last look over the shoulder at the 'newcomers' as they head up to the "Control Room". she places her forehead on the top of Kristian's head and continues to focus on the healing powers of Avi and Sasha.
*a quiet voice says "and i was working so hard on not blurting .. ', its barely audible to any in the living room

The combined efforts of Avi, Tyler, Sasha and Sierra are more than enough to help Ashley, Isamu and Kristian and they immediately start looking like they’re feeling a bit better.
Leaning against Isamu, looking tired, Ashley smiles. “A day off would be good right about now.” Now that she’s feeling better she hugs Isamu and says “I’m going to go get some air. I should be back shortly.” Ashley pauses for a second to see if Isamu wants to go with her or if he'll remain behind. Meanwhile, Avi turns to Sasha and smiles. "Thanks again for your help. I hate having to keep bugging you for things like this."
Jane nods at Sierra's response in regards to Fusion. "Yeah, that's pretty much the sum of it." Shaking her head at Deci, she says "No, you should be fine. You weren't exposed to the initial bout of radiation and we healed everyone up fairly quickly. Jack, the brooding man on the beach as you call him should be fine. Avi and Kristian will be keeping an eye on everyone just in case though, to be on the safe side." Jane waits to see if Deci has any more questions, and raises an eyebrow. "Not so bad? I wouldn't trust anyone who chose to work for Wraith, knowing how insane he is."
As Tom continues practicing, he hears someone walking up behind him and Tyler's voice saying "Hey Tom. How are you handling everything?"

Isamu says, "one moment Ashley I will join you. Janie we are stepping out."
He removes his band-aid-io and pulls off Ashley's as well. Placing them on the table he retrieves a cell phone. "If there is an emergency you can still reach me. Avery, please handle things here until we return."
He then loops his arm in Ashley's and leads her out of the house towards the beach without any more discussion.

Tom stops for a moment. "Reeling, really. I started today wanting to do an analysis of Asimov's "Naked Sun". Then I had to break up a fight between the Dirt brothers, fend off Wraith's goons. I go back to my apartment to find Raggedy Ann there. He and I end up tearing up my apartment and a good chunk of the block. I come here and face off against that tool in a suit MacCoulter, whom I'm really not crazy about working with or for or whatever. Then it's off to bring in Ryne, and I end up having to dodge and intimidate SWAT teams. I'm tired, a little frustrated, and want to go to bed. Yeah, I think that covers it. And you?"

Deci answers aloud "Yes by the sounds of it whoever signs up with him and stick around would be insane or dumb. At least those that see the light at the end of the tunnel are intelligent and redeemable. But otherwise so what is this group here, are you like totally a super hero team. I mean daddy in his emails mentioned teams like this but never went into huge descriptions. And my research kept me way too busy to really read about it, that and the discovery of what I can do after the meteor strike."
She pauses for a moment before continuing on before opening her eyes wide as if it just dawned on her. "Is it possible to sign up or join. I mean as a researcher sometimes my work is high and low and usually flexible. Or is this an exclusive club. Cause if I could join that would be sooo cool, kinda a dream of mine coming to fruition."

Meanwhile, Avi turns to Sasha and smiles. "Thanks again for your help. I hate having to keep bugging you for things like this." Sasha fixes her hair and smiles at Avi. "Well Mario was telling me I needed to get out more. So... anything else?" Sasha asks. "Or should I try not to make an ass of myself in your secret beach house lair this time around?" |

"Oh great, wannbe's." Angel mutters, nusrsing the bridge of her nose with her fingers. Her headache of the day still grinding away on her nerves. She was young once before herself and made a lot of mistakes in her time after she was given her robotic abilities. The events of the day did try her patients knowing she probably hired on the wrong side and unintended comments of her being either stupid or insane about joining the Mayors little task force weren't helping.
Of course, no one was being forth coming with the info either. Most were already heading out the door. So she settles with drumming her fingers on the table, watching and waiting.

Tyler grinned. " You get used to it, or you turned disgruntled like me, punch out MacColter and quit." He began mimicking Tom's movements, but with much more style and grace. " Don't force the movements. Let them flow smoothly and it's much more relaxing."

" I'm sure something could be arranged, Miss Winters," said an older man coming into the room, who Angel recognized as Dylin MacColter," Hello angel. never expected to grace my presence again. Tire of the mercenary scene?" He grinned, but there was no mistaking the sarcasm.
Avi looked at Sasha and shook his head slightly after giving Isamu a thumbs up. " It's not that big a secret really." He grinned, sort of goofily. Besides, we could use your help, since none of us are flyers."
Feeling better, Kristian gave Sierra a kiss on the forehead. " Thanks. You are better at that than me.

Ashley only gave Isamu a curious look when he removed her band-adio, but said nothing until they were on the beach and alone," So what am I in trouble for that you need to drag me off to talk to?"

"Heh...sorry, but in my case, I just sort of catch on from other people" Tyler notices that Tom seems to perfectly mimic his own motions. "See what I mean?"

Deci's eyes light up and her face beams in happiness as she realizes she may get exactly what she wants. Her head floods with so many questions. Do I go public with my Identity? Do I get a costume of some sort? My word that would be soo cool. Do I reveal all I can do if they ask? Should I just offer it up? Would this make Daddy and Mommy happy. Probably not Mommy as she would worry but tough to say on Daddy. Calm yourself you do not want to appear like a complete young idiot. Now Breathe deep and...
She finally looks at this new joinee and speaks "Really, you can get me in, that would be soo cool! Is there anything you want to know about me. I heard the word feds, is your group federal. I apologize for my ignorance and I am probably acting like an over excited 12 year old girl, but I would really like to know?"
Oh yeah sherlock, they don't think you are a youthful idiot now! Let us hope they mistaken it for youthful exuberance. Come on girl you are smarter then that! She thinks to herself as she waits for her answers!

*Sierra pinks about the cheeks slightly and ducks the head. then looks up at Kristian. 'i got a bit goofy coming back .. sorry. Ryne kicked the door in ... oh jeez. we better get that fixed soon'
*she simply closes her eyes once, a bit of a goofy grin on the face and relaxes against Kristian's warm shoulder and sighs once, with a happiness that finally shows once the fear is gone.
'i can tell one of the new girls that came in is like us. the .. the talkative one actually, but i'm not sure about the other ... ' *her green eyes lift and watch Angel, even as McCoulter comes into the room and takes that one's attention.
*she looks away and then stands up 'i'll get something else one for dinner then .... ' *she slips towards the kitchen with her hands shoved into the pockets and the shirt tucked in so little skin shows

Isamu answer's Ashley, "You did nothing wrong. I needed a break, and thought you did as well. I do not know if I can do this Ashley. I delayed in taking action earlier and Tom was almost killed by Ragnarok. I made bad decisions while going to rescue the group and had us all suffering from radiation poisoning, not to mention leaving Avi and Tom alone in the field. I'm not cut out to lead."

There's no way you could have known that Tom would be attacked like that, or that one of Wraith's people could use radiation on us like that. We're all learning together, even those of us that have been at this a while. " she smirked," Would you sooner see someone like Jason in charge? "
Tyler watched Tom copy his movements, and purposely changed to another disciple, more focused and direct. " I've seen others do this. Can make them a difficult person to face off with."

" Please, one question at a time." MacColter said. " Yes, we are a federal agency, formerly under the umbrella of Homeland Security. We..."
Avi cut him off," formerly?"
" It's complicated, Avery. I'm still trying to work things out and Ryne is on the phone to Washington as we speak. I intended to explain it once I had the details." dylin replied. " At the moment, we still have federal jurisdiction, but we're in limbo for the moment."
