Ollah all. DhAkael from the PCR here.
Shiv's has asked me on-deck for this here PBM/PBP game.
Um..little bit of a conflict here..the original concept (which I was gonna transfer from paper & pencl to .txt) for my chracter was gonna be a Battle Mage as well. Jerran De-La Croix, trained by the mages guild of Lazlo (umm...not sure if you'd allow it from there, but it follows that they'd get at least one or two BM instructors at THE magiccapitol of North-Am.) IF allowed, I'll give better details. He's 3rd level right now, but can easily be retroed back to 1st.

Dhak, Juggie, you guys will have to work out who's playing what. I have no problem with two mages on board, but two battlemages is a bit on the overkill side. DhAk, as long as the background is feasible, I should have no problems with it.
Renegade, I'll make up the in game and ooc sections soon. and we'll go with the seperate threads idea for pcs you came up with for Golth since it'll make things less confusing. Won't need all the pc info like stats ( since they won't get used alot). I'll give the general idea when I post Chaz.

fair enough...thing is..this BM is the ONLY legal PC I have already written up ;D Well.. I do have one other, Toshio, but he's a BTS arcanist; Shinto warrior-monk who masquerades as a collector of rare antiquities  think a cross between Giles (from Buffy), Daniel Jackson from SG-1 in personality, but with the body & face of Ken Wattanabe ;D As for Jerran De-le Croix; he's a..errrm... 'renegade trained' battlemagus; NOT schooled in the dweomer tradition (he rides a motorcycle for one thing). He learned his craft at Lazlo's mages guild under the new 'Mystic arts of combat' apprenticeship. After finishing, left to assist an exploration team from the council of learning...they got bushwhacked by CS..he barely survived. Jerran now works out of Kingsdale; anything that requires bashing of CS or body-gaurd work (his pennence), he'll do. Physical look is like Antonio Banderras from 'Desperado' wearing Neo's ensamble from the matrix  . Personality is like Auron from FF10 (so is his main sword...sharpend I beam anyone?). He'll be..um... "strongly debating" the merrits of the Dweomer BM school of thought with the other Battle magus (if they both show up in same game). Jerran is a free-thinker and does not take well to dogmatic BS ;D  |

Since this is going to be freeform, stats and skills are irrelevant so long as everyone stays within character. In other words, no one is perfect so I expect all the characters to miss sometimes and botch doing something. I'll base leveling up on when the pc has earned it, not when they have enough XP. It would be nice if everyone listed equipment, spells, psi, etc. |

better idea, Scratch the duelist, how about a Psi-Stalker, I have a 3rd lvl, x-coalition one from another game that folded.

*snickers* ... and here i was ...about to state for the record that as long as the stalker didn't KILL my char .. she woulda kept him fed once a week ...
she understands THAT need .. not happy about it but would have allowed him to feed off of her ... [shudders]
