Bio:
Kristi was born as Zi Mei and is one of the hundreds of the female babies born in China and abandoned; this could have been because she was a female or because she had beautiful violet eyes and purple streaks in her hair. She was also one of the lucky ones adopted by a Lesbian American family, the Drydens at the age of 4. She grew up in a very happy household and as both her parents had very good jobs never wanted for anything. They were not rich but well off enough to put her through private school. When she was 12 she was told all the information that the parents had about who she was and where she came from. It did not change anything though, she was happy with her family.
Kristi showed a natural dance talent and that is what got her a scholarship to ASU. She devoted all of her time to her studies and due to summer classes and a high intelligence managed to finish a bachelors in 3 years instead of 4. It was however during her second year of study while practicing a dance routine on her own that her powers manifested. It was the shoddy workmanship done on the stage for the show to be presented the next day. She was just in her last dance move when the entire scaffolding collapsed. She saw this and screamed on its way down and what happened next was like it was in slow motion. Out of nowhere a dome appeared around her keeping the scaffolding at bay. She was then launched away from the scene in the air. It was the shoddy workmanship done on the stage for the show to be presented the next day. She was just in her last dance move when the entire scaffolding collapsed. She saw this and screamed on its way down and what happened next was like it was in slow motion. She then proceeded to pass out.
She was woken up surrounded by paramedics trying to insure that all was ok. She said she was fine and then explained she jumped off of the stage as the scaffolding fell down. Nothing came of it, but she remembered what really happened and in secret she honed her powers. It was great, as long as she got enough sun which admittedly she avoided like the plague in the past; she would not need to eat and would keep the perfect body. On graduation day her parents came to the momentous occasion but on there drive home were struck by a drunken truck driver. It was at there funeral and after the reading of the will when she decided to move to Century Station to further her dance career, find a plausible singing career. The fact she may be able to do some good was an additional bonus.
