Dorsette looked at Kendall a little suprised. "You said this was the fee, so we're paying it." He says. "You're tracking down another engineer for his technology to get back what he stole from Regault."
Leaning forward he says. "All you're going is counter-industrial espionage. And clearly the CSPD is just trying to rattle you. They have nothing or you wouldn't be here."

Kendall raised his hands and said, "relax, getting grilled by the cops pissed me off. It's not your fault. Just frustrating. I was really hoping you had some answers."
Kendall pauses for a moment and leans on the railing and looks out over the water, "why are we meeting on a bridge in the middle of the night?"

"Partly because I don't get outside enough." Says Dorsett. "But, more that there's part of your story that worries me. The lawyer said something about someone handing you a package of information?"

"Yeah I was sitting in my car trying to figure out where to go next. Someone climbed into my truck and handed me an envelope with info and a picture. Info led me to the Centurions. now I think that guy set me up. If I find him again I'll find out what his game was."
After pausing and looking around a second Kendall looks back and Dorsett and says, "the whole thing was weird. I'm pretty sure that the door was locked and he just walked in. He said the GM sent him. I still have no idea what he was talking about. Oh and something I didn't tell the cops or the lawyer. After the file incident I was at another dead end. Sitting there and waiting someone took over my laptop and sent me a message. Told me to follow the white rabbit."
Kendall laughs and says, "weird I know. Well, 10 seconds later a white VW rabbit drove by. I followed it, and I found Power Armor, and the other misfits turned Centurions."

Dorsett shakes his head. "In this town? Could be anyone. I heard there's a super-hero who names himself after a pheonetic symbol. Shwa, or something."
"But, to business. If you want the extra implants, we have to do it under the RADAR. It'll mean disappearing for a couple of days. With the cops knowing about you, it'll be a risk. Same for your job, I guess."

"Since I'm a subcontractor, I can choose to take a few days without any problems. Are these implants illegal? If not the cops have no need to know what I am doing. Medical procedures, and laws being what they are to protect the patient and all that."

"Then we wait. I'm not in a rush, and no need to draw anymore attention. No one followed me today, doesn't mean they wont tomorrow. Your Regault lawyer brought attention to your company though. I didn't mention you until he showed up. I thought you had a lawyer that didn't have Regault on his business card."

"Sure you can be seen with me?" Kendall asks with a smirk.
As they walk towards a coffee shop Kendall says, "I'm not done with this by the way. I'll find your tech and if it does lead me back to the Centurion, I'll take him down. They really pissed me off, they were going to flatten my tires. That's just wrong."

"Yeah, the cops are heavy-handed when it's one of their own. Even the Centurions." Dorsett says. "Like I said, if they really suspected something, we would know."
As they enter Jimmy's Joe, Dorsett pointed to a table, with a clean-looking guy drinking a cu of Jimmy's Joe java. "Ah, good, our surgeon is here."
