" Okay, thanks for the heads up. We're on our way." Dmitri replied as he hung up and looked at Isamu. " No, it was Sasha, the one that caught Avi's eye. she says they are still near there, but they are outnumbered and being pursued."
Dmitri spoke up. " I can get us fairly close to there. Janie made me mark the place because the food was good."

Dmitri hung up abruptly, but it made sense with friends in trouble to Sasha. As she watched her monitor, more figures kept passing. It was obvious that SWAT wasn't messing around trying to catch the others. Only good thing was that if they were still pouring into the area, they hadn't caught Avi and Sierra yet.

On the third roof hop, Ryne was the last to go, and he nearly missed his jump as bullets sprayed up over the side at him, narrowly missing. " We can't keep this up the whole way home." Avi said.

Tom nods. "Agreed, but I'm hesitant to open fire on cops doing their jobs. We need some kind of cover." Tom looks around. "Hmm...we need either some big AC units or a water tower."

Sierra looks at the others and then about the area. 'a shopping mall? .. a movie house ... street vendors .. there .. we gotta get off and down now. gotta blend in with regular looking norms'

*she looks at the others* 'its the only way i can think of. if its just one .. they'll split up to take down the loner. get them back safe Avi. i'll be on the next building .. one building away. they'll see me split off and assume you are gonna split up and make tracking harder. it will make a hole in their .. pattern so you can get down and move out on foot. i know its not what you think is right .. but its the only thing i can think of to get you guys to the ground safely and out to the house

"Shit," Sasha mutters biting her thumbnail. "With this many SWAT it's going to be seriously bad business." Walking out to the bar she looks at Mario and whispers. "We've got a SWAT problem," she says. "There are a lot of police out there; it might be best to close the bar for a bit and get everyone safely away from here... or make sure no one leaves until the police are gone."

Mario just looked at Sasha, " You're worried about other cops? I thought you all stuck together." He grinned. " Probably best to let folks decide themselves." He looked at the others," Hey folks, listen up. Sasha's got something to bring up."

" We should stick together if the others are on thier way." Ryne replied. For a guy who had been contemplating suicide, he certainly had slipped back into a team thinking mindset. " What we need is a way to convince them we've split up without actually doing it."
" We better move again soon too, before they can get people up here after us." Avi pointed out.

Tom smiles. "Let me try a few things. We need to smash up some of the AC units. anything metal, and then I'll spread it out like wildfire. It might make them cover a larger area, leave us some holes to go through."

"Yeah cops stick together," Sasha mumbles. "You are an asshole Mario," Sasha says through gritted teeth.
"Mario is correct; a bit ago I saw people running through the alleys behind and around this establishment. On our CCTV we've captured at least a dozen plus SWAT. You don't have to leave here at this moment; but I want everyone to be aware that the area might have dangerous individuals and law enforcement doing searches. Please; be cautious; and if anyone wants us to call a cab for you we're more then happy to do so."

' .. that could work. better idea than mine. if i copy and stay back about .. 15 feet no one will know where we are. they really don't know what i do. why not use the wires in the powerlines? would that be enough of a distraction? no then we come across as really bad vandals, not a good idea'
'i'll stick with Avi. i'm strong and he's not that heavy. no offense Tom .. but you look heavier in that form than normal. so how much of the AC units you need? .. the outer casings? i can make then think we've doubled back. you guys get the metal .. i'll be right back'
*that said, she moves back to the far side of the building and pulls out a couple of bricks and then lobs them overhand so they fall in a pattern leading away .. 1 .. 2 ... 3 ... 4 and 5. she can hope that its enough to confuse them and get them chasing each other for now. that done, she heads back to the others and their pile of metal

Mario chuckled even as he watched the patrons look at each other nervously. Then a couple of them held up their hands. " We'll take that taxi."
some of the younger crowd didn't seem to understand the seriousness of the situation," We're safer in here with the beer."

*she says nothing more but gets into the ripping it apart with him. between the two of them its in pieces quickly then pauses and writes something on a slip of paper, folds it and sets it so its in sight of someone looking for the AC.
'k .. ready' *grins and its clear she is ready to get going

Tom concentrates his magnetic talents into shredding the metal AC unit into so much scrap, and then settign it on a set of parabolic arcs in different directions so the scrap would land on the heads of the SWAT teams like rain, hopefully creating confusion.

Tom's steel shower worked even better than expected, giving away the SWAT members positions below on the front side and on one of the back corners near the fire escape.
Avi pointed up at the lights of a helicopter approaching from the distance. " Crap, we're gonna have to split up. Sierra, go with Ryne and head for home, and try to get in touch with Is. Tom and I will double back and try to get his chair." He looked at Tom, " Piggy back or carry me with your powers?"
