As the Galaxy rounds Earth's orbit, the "nightime indicator" flashes, and lights in the halls dim. "The time is now 8PM, Greenwich mean time." says a pre-recorded announcement.
Jessica and Foreman are on the bridge.
Mensk is in the engine areas
McKenna is in the medical bay area (after storing her suit)
Tawfeek is with the guests they had brought aboard.

Mac looked up at the speaker, " That's great, so where the heck is Greenwich? " she asked rhetorically, shaking her head. she knew she had some time to kill, so she retruned to her quarters and retrieved her fencing sword. There was nowheres large enough in her room for shadow fencing, but knew there was lots of room in hydroponics, so she headed there.

Mengsk looked over a list of parts as he listened music. He liked the old engines for there power. But he need them to be less of pain in parts. By getting parts of the next more powerful engine of that series it could save maintenance.
The Platvorish Engine series was of russian make. If any engine would get to hell and back..it was Platvorish...they also kept in mind inter-changeability. Like the AK-47 basic stock parts worked in all versions of the same series.
"New engine sensors or a re-calibration would be needed." he thought.

(McKenna) McKenna finds her way into the cargo bay. It's got sufficient atmosphere. However, the null-G environment makes fencing difficult. Much less the big engine-part.
(Mensk) The engines parts are pretty generic, one of the things that engines popular.
(Foreman/Jessica) As the ship merrily flies, there is a beep signalling someone is in the cargo hold.

[ooc- I thought I said hydroponics]
McKenna immediately regreted going to the hangar once she discovered the lack of gravity. She hadn't had any real zero-g movement training except for basic in her piloting class, so she just did the best she could. She tried to stay at the doorway, but it was a lost cause. Holding her foil's scabbard tightly, her first thought was spoken aloud," Great, I gave the captain another excuse to yell at me".

(OOC: Ummm... If I could edit your post, it would say "Hanger bay", but I can't, so I'll go with he "I can't read" excuse. Yes, I can type, but I can't read.)
(McKenna) The 20-foot lunge explained why it was fencing was so popular on the moon. With proper training, it was becoming aparant that she could do most of the stunts in the movies...

Jessica frowns curiously at the notification that someone is in the cargo bay. "I'm going to go check that out." she tells Foreman before starting for the cargo bay. She considers telling the captain, but figures she should see what was going on before raising any potential alerts.

(Jessica) A quick look shows McKenna trying to fence in null-G...

(Engine Room) Mengsk loved old engines...the parts should be easy to find...Shipyards and Salvage were his best route, cheep and good quality. With few key strokes he called around and went on-line to find out prices. If the Captain asked about prices he wanted to show him a few estimates.
"Has to be something..." he muttered as the gold fish screen saver started to kick in..

" This is .... kinda fun." McKenna couldn't help but giggle as she spun in a frantic spin after touching off a wall , lashing out at the same position each rotation until she tucked and rolled to bounce off the floor again and begun her paries and thrusts again. The best part was she could feel the sweat starting to pour off of her, which meant she was getting a good workout.

Finding the flight slightly boring Foreman can't help but focus on the screen of McKenna jumping around the cargo bay. A slight smile on his face as he watches her fence and float around.

Seeing that it's McKenna fencing in the cargo bay, Jessica decides to not bother her while she is busy. Figuring that things are quiet, she heads to her workshop, hoping to get some time to think up some ideas before she has to get back to work.

McKenna continued her workout, her maneuvers becoming more and more intense until they started to become harder to time and control. Then it became a challenge, making her sweat even more as she tried to perfect her landings against the hangar surfaces, with mixed results.

The nightshift passes easily. The course thatw as set kept them away from the busier lanes, with Tawfeek relieving Foreman for the last half so the pilot could get a little sleep...
Pretty soon, the crew were awakened to the announcement they would be docking with Euro in a couple of hours. However, they wouldn't be leaving the ship, since the goal is to trasfer the big engine part in the hold to the station.
The engineer crew had already begun to suit up and were in the hold. Jessica was asked to oversee it from the old control room in the hold.
The rest, unless they had urgent work, were still on down-time (it is about 2 AM GMT).
