He turns to Kitty. "Fortify, he says." With a sigh, he goes back to the door to try and close it, at least. Maybe the Brood outside won't notice it right away. "Kitty, see if there's another exit."

Creed snarled slightly. " At least the Brood don't talk as much as you. Aren't you concerned why other Avengers are helping these things?" As they passed the elevator shaft, Sabertooth sniffed, and then grinned. " About time they caught up with me."

The Star-Spangled Avenger does not even break his stride. "Good, have your team follow us. Strength in numbers."

Gambit put the card he was about the charge back into his pocket. "Quit fooling around." He says. "And get in here. We need to stay secure until the boy scout arrives with the other men."
As he ushers Colossus in, he double checks that it's clear before closing the doors again. "We need to make sure these men are all able to at least walk out, modesty not withstanding, mon ami."

"Come on kids, don't keep me waiting." Sabertooth called up the shaft, then looked at Cap with a feral grin. " We'll catch up." He tapped his nose," I'll find ya."
" More than you know, my friend." Colossus replied, closing the door. " Captain America is on his way with... help. But Colonel Fury wants to blow the carrier to keep the Brood from escaping." He looked around, and asked softly," Where is she?"

"Your alive...almost had me worried.." Blink emerged and smile relieved Creed was well. Truth was she did worry about him her white attire barely smudged Looking to the leaving Captain America. Sabertooth for all his 'wisdom', still could be as savage as was before saving her. Blink had been a pretty big influence..then again so was Sabertooth.
"Did you find anyone else alive?" she asks scanning around her carefully. Though looking non-threatening she was fast. Blink was uncertain to her if it was an aspect of her mutation, Creed's training or Sinister's experiments but in any case it saved her more than once.

" No. It seems whatever you did cleared the corridor." colossus said, looking towards the back for signs of Kitty. " I have to warn you. Captain America and I encountered Sabertooth fighting with another Avenger, Hawkeye. When the Captain interfered, his friend ran away for some reason and Creed did not attack us. Something does not add up about him, so we have to be on our toes."
Cap knew he had reached the right place when he found the three fallen soldiers outside a door. He got there in time to hear Piotr warning Gambit.
" You know better than to worry about me, kiddo." Creed replied even as Pym flew out of the shaft and reverted to his normal form. Creed glanced at the shaft, " Where's the rest of the team? There's survivors here allright, and we aren't the only ones interfering."

"Sabertooth." Gambit says, in a tone that acknowledges he knew this would happen. "So, what bad gumbo made you work for these brood?" The Rajin Cajun takes a defensive posture, ready for whatever Creed can say.

Coming off the cable Cal puffs out a sigh of relief. "I"m not physically tired from doing that but oh man I thought I was going to fall every three feet. How do you guys..." Cal stops looking at the rest assembled. "Who are these guys? Please tell me we're not fighting them."

Steve closes his eyes and says a silent prayer for the fallen soldiers, but only for a moment. "At ease, X-man." he says calmly to Gambit. "I'm not sure what Sabretooth's game is, but his attitudes don't match anything I've read or heard about him, which is reason enough to be cautious to make any rash decisions. Like it or not, we may have a common enemy, at least for the moment."

sabertooth grinned as he motioned for them to head down the corridor. " Don't worry Tabbycat, I'm sure there will be more of them. now let's go, there are people you are waiting on us." He gave Blink a wink, " You know things we're much simpler before I became a softie because of you. And no Gaby, I don't think there will be any group hugging.""
Colossus is obviously more concerned in where Kitty is than listening about Sabertooth. " X-men do not make rash decisions, we respond to them, Captain." He did grin slightly
