*it is into uncertainty and confusion that Jeckle finally walks into.
'i was sleeping. why did i get woken up?' *yawns after the comments even as the body slowly wakes up. what i wouldn't give for a coke right now .. cold coffee will have to do i guess'
*she looks about the inside of the tent and studies the people gathered and frowns as her mind kicks over who's there and why they are in Tiger's tent. she says nothing just now

"Great, you're here," Ionic says to Jeckle. "I didn't find anything, but help me carry this stuff back to the plane and you can use your toys to see if you can find anything." He pushes Tiger's gun cleaning kit, one with lots of odd, intricate custom made tools, towards Jeckle while Strongbow picks up most of the other gear to carry it back to the plane.
"I'm sure the guards will be back eventually." Ionic continues.

Meanwhile, out in the rain, Kris still cannot find any trace of Tiger.

*takes the items and examines them before closing the case. she follows the others out to the plane and remains in a thoughtful manner and ponders a few things

"I thought I told you," Strongbow says to Jeckle, "Tiger has disappeared. We captured a Chinese soldier. Apparently when Tiger killed his creature she also vanished."

Khris' frustration comes out as a growl as he checked around the outside of the tent. Still finding nothing, he nosed his way back inside the tent with the others to see if they had everything taken care of yet.

Dante shakes his head and looks at Steelfist. "Dude this makes no sense. First we find these rings that give us creatures. It seems we get hurt if our creature bites it, and now it seems we can disappear if we take out someone elses creature."

*its clear Jeckle is testy or something when woken from a dead sleep. how this may affect her thinking is unsure, but so far she seems testy and maybe a little owly.
' .. i'm sure when you need me, you'll tell me more info. i already know who's gonna be the token ring bearer to her father. the least offensive person. so lets just get this little show over with so i can get back to sleep'

"Jeckle, we were hoping you could scan this stuff and tell us something about what happened. We really don't know anything more than that right now. All Tiger said before she disappeared was, 'Complete the mission.'" Strongbow replied.
Ionic said, "Also once we get this stuff back to the plane and scan it we're going to need you to let us into the cave again."

Khris drew Khamai back without a word. He hadn't found any clue as to what had happened. Stopping by his own tent to pick up his things, he stood up to pick up his pack and then paused. His brow furrowed as he looked around to try to understand what had just happened. Grabbing his things, he hurried to the plane. He dropped them just inside, and apologized for interupting," Sorry Steelfist, I need Dante for a moment." Grabbing Dante by the collar and dragging him away from the others, he looked at the psychic with a confused look," something wierd just happened to me. It's got nothing to do with Tiger's vanishing act. When you took our guest out of the tent, where did you see me? I was right there with Khamai and you walked right by."

'fine, but i make no promises. so far all i've done is waste my time trying to figure out how to detect the rings. nothing had been in the cave when i checked earlier and i highly doubt that anyone has been in there since.
If i'm not mistaken, isn't this the reason that we got sent here? because her father couldn't get to the final prize? or at least his prior agents couldn't. that's why one of us has to give him our ring. if we can't find the 'prize', we surrender ours. or one of us does .. you figured out who to pick yet?'
*Jeckle sets the gear she carried over and watched as Dante and Khris seem to have words just out of hearing. she looks at Ionic and Strongbow. 'i know who its going to be ... maybe he pulled her back to get an update? didn't he send one out at the dinner table?'
*settles on a crate and starts building a detector, but geared to pick up gamma radiation and starts checking Tiger's gear over. then once done continues with other adjustments to the detector to check for other types of radiation like trails.

Ionic and Strongbow look uncertain, they weren't on the last mission after all. "Tiger said that none of the creatures were ready. Do you know what traits her father is looking for?" Strongbow asked Jeckle curiously.
Tiger's things reveal very little. It is possible to detect that she used them, not too long ago even, but there is nothing unusual about the items and no clue where she went.
O.O.C.: The answer to Kris' question is that he metamorphed into a canine FYI.

*the fact that Jeckle is still mostly asleep is seen as she starts awake as she almost looses her balance. she shakes her head trying to clear it.
'man what i wouldn't give for some Cola right now'
*she looks over at Ionic and Strongbow and then sighs 'you hand over the 'weakest link. the most useless one in the group and hope for the best. all things considered, i'm surprised you didn't figure that one yet. the answer is simple then. oh right, sorry. just remembered you weren't there. met you on the plane after the dinner and near forced single recruitment'
*she ponders her next words as she collapses items and packs them away* 'yeah .. i was useless after all. figures. no i have no clue what the 'prize' is .. he just stated that it was a tough job and that his agents couldn't reach it. maybe he figured someone not attached to him could do it easier. so nice when people don't share information and expect the others to know.'
*she stands up and then zips and/or velcro's a few other pockets and flaps closed. 'well .. might as well secure the plane and make sure that there are no other lifeforms in here. i'm for the cave then. i wonder if the creatures can take us with them when the vanish?'
*she heads for the ramp, exits the plane and heads off. passing near the area of Khris and Dante, she heads into the jungle without looking back again. she simply raises her voice for Strongbow and Ionic as she moves 'i guess this is why i like being alone .. yeah right .. who's the weakest link? who has the least to offer the group? gotta think in those terms, the answer's smple then .. real lsimple .. god i hate waking up in the morning when i haven't slept long enough and in mixed company'

When Jeckle passed and exited, Khris scowled. He held up one finger to Dnte," hold that thought, I'll be right back. "
Exiting the plane, he ran after Jeckle, stopping her by grabbing her elbow and turning her around. " I don't care what that was about, but now that Tigger is missing, I'm stuck in charge. And I said we stick together so no one else disappears, okay? Now come on, we're all tired and edgey. Let's get back to the plane and figure out what we're gonna do next."

Dante starts to say, "well I w...ummm ok."
He waits and watches Khris with Jeckle. When Khris comes back he says, "everything cool? Like I was saying though, when we walked out the tent no one was around. All we saw as we made our way here was a dog."
