Sam rolls her eyes unseen under her helmet and thinks to herself 'Whatever' as Dyson takes him over to the helicopter.
Shouting over the noise, she replies to Norrin "We'd love one, thank you!" She waits for the others to get onto the helicopter and then follows them, keeping an eye out for any sign of trouble.

McCain Quickly gets some fusion blocks from the helicopter's bug out kit and quickly starts to set up booby traps on the vehicles being left behind.

Once McCain's trap was set up and everyone was onboard, the helicopter started to lift. Norrin looked at the others, motioning towards Shep. " Well he looks like crap, but the rest of you seemed to fare okay. Your hitch must have gone fairly well."
" Flattery will get you no wheres." Shep deadpanned as Dyson used the onboard first aid kit on his wounds.
" He's not happy unless he's wounded." Rhys added his two cents. " Good to see some of the old squad held together."

Sam nods at Norrin and replies "It seems to have gone as well as it could have." A smile appears as she adds "Thank you for your impeccable timing." Sam then finds a place to sit as the helicopter lifts off and they start to depart.

Mariana nods in agreement to Sam. "Yeah, in another minute, we'ld have had to take the glory all for ourselves." She says, with a smirk. "So, what sent you this way?"

Norrin shrugged. " Mission, same as you folks. Turned out to be a bust. command thought they had a line on Naruni weapon smugglers, but it turned out to be a false lead. We were just on our way back when we stumbled acrossed that parade you were leading." He glanced at Shep and added, " Looks like it's a good thing we did.
Rhys took out the onboard med kit, and tried to help Dyson treat Shep's wounds.

Sam nods at Norrin "It is definitely good that you happened along when you did." Sighing quietly, she lets herself relax for the first time since leaving for this mission as the helicopter flies. Turning to Dyson, she asks "How is he? Is he going to live?"

Mariana continued to look out the window of the helicopter. "I think I'm going to stay dead." She said to Sam after a while. "I really don't need this hassle. You know?"

" He's too stubborn to die." Dyson replied, giving a thumbs up as he let Shep sleep from the sedative he'd been given. He held up an IRMSS dispenser," This will fix him up, and the RMKs will patch the rest."

Looking over Sam's wrecked body, she says, "Well, to be honest, the fewer people who know I'm alive, the easier my life'll be. My father disowned me, I'm wanted in Pecos, goodness knows who else. If I stay dead, well, at least most people will leave me alone."

Rhys' eyes narrowed as he looked at Mariana," You're talking AWOL, Marianna. You don't need that kind of headache. Besides," he thumbed over his shoulder," sleeping beauty would hunt you to ends of the earth, the way he's hung up on you."
Dyson nodded in agreement.
