Solomon sees quickly that his suspicions were correct, and that a broken piece of silver cord seemed to be cut away. Nathaniel's body was intact, but his spirit was gone.
Avi looked at MacColter and Isamu, and got a suspicious look on his face," allright, what did I do now? Yes, I was trying to call Sasha, because she tried to get ahold of me first."
As Tom was finishing up, Janie rounded the corner of the stairs" Tom, where is everybody? We've got a big problem. Null's found Jason and Alice. Dmitri's ready to go."
" Hey, come on now." Kristian said, shaking his head. " What do you mean about you and Kerry?" He smirked and then leaned over to give Si a peck on the cheek. " Thank you. I didn't want to fight Ashley, but I appreciate you preventing it anyways."

"Kerry seemed to think i was slimy or something. i tried to be helpful. guess he just likes guys. his problem .. not gonna worry about it. these are good burgers, not greasy like mine usually get" *she grabs a second burger and loads it up*

Solomon decided to try something. his experience dealing with the astral was limited so he wasn't sure if his magic would work the same way or not, but if it worked, he still might be able to save his friend and mentor. he grabbed Nathaniel's broken silver cord and entered the astral plane, repeating the ritual he used in the car to find Ashley and Dmitri (locate, 30 ppe) trying to get a fix on Nathaniel's spirit. (ooc: locate 1d100=60 pass 60/88%) |

Isamu's face gets a confused look. "Sasha? We need to speak with you, but it is nothing to do with Sasha. First why don't you explain what happened with the professor and his group."

Janie nodded. " Dmitri will be down in a minute." she said as she headed off after Mac and Isamu. A moment later, Dimitri, dressed in his 'work' clothes and the team jacket Sierra had made, came downstairs. He beckoned to Sierra and Kristian outside as he spoke to Tom," Heard I'm not the only one to take a beating in the last little while. You up for things, or faking it like me too?" He smirked.
Kristian grinned at the compliment. " The open flame cooks off the grease. I'll show you sometime when you're ready. Oh, looks like we're being paged." He motioned to dmitri in the window, motioning for them to come in. " He looks ready to go too. Must be trouble." He grabbed another burger, then held the door open for Sierra.
An image began to form in Solomon's mind. He could see Nathaniel's spirit resting on a slba much as his body was. It was locked inside some sort of sealed vault. There was nothing else to in the vault, except an odd clock.
MacColter looked at Isamu, then sighed to Avi," I could care less if you are showing an interest in an outside life, Avery." He explained the situation with Ryne, and Avi began to look concerned. He was about to reply when Janie barged in," Isamu, alice and Jason are in trouble. I think Nullifier found them."
Avi looked at Isamu, " I'll go after Ryne if you want to go help Alice? There's enough of us to split up."
MacColter nodded," I can keep the fort with Janie here so you can all go. I don't think the McManus boys will cause anymore trouble."

Isamu nods and stands up as he looks from Avi to MacCoulter. "Take Tom and Sierra with you. Sierra can copy his abilities if there is a problem. Try to talk him into coming back with you peacefully. I will go with Dimitri, Ashley and Kristian to help Alice. If Nullifier is indeed there, we may need to fight without our abilities. Once this mission is complete, we need to work on training everyone, to work as a team, and also to work without our powers in case the need arises."
Isamu stands and realizes there is one more person that may be able to help with Nullifier. Turning back to Avery he says, "do you think we should have the professor help with Nullifier? That would mean leaving the others he brought here alone. Can they be trusted?"

*Sierra steals a kiss as she enters the kitchen and then grins at Ashley before finishing her burger and soda. hearing only half the conversation she frowns but says nothing. she leans toward Kristian and whispers 'be careful .. k?'
*she likes the idea of practicing together, but worries that it might be too little too late. some people just were never meant to be in a group .. and she fears that most of her friends in the beachhouse fell into that category.
'k .. i'm ready to go, well as ready as i'll ever be today' *she says nothing but gives a small grin as she spots Dimitri in the jacket she made. he at least understands the reason for the jacket. if only a 'junior' form of an actual uniform, its geared for each person and will provide a little protection*

Avi nodded. " Ask him, it can't hurt, Isamu." He headed upstairs to where the others waited.
MacColter interjected. " I will ask him for you."

Dmitri looked at Kristian and Sierra, " Time to go to work. Alice is in trouble and apparently so is Ryne, the old team leader."
Avi appeared in the doorway," Dmitri,Kristian, Is wants you down with the other team. Si, Tom, we get to go find Atlas. And if he doesn't want to co-operate, it may take both of your strength to change his mind." He had his phone out, then cursed as he realized he had left it connected. He dialled it again as he motioned to the others to follow as he headed for the door.
Kristian gave Sierra a light kiss," You be careful too."

Dmitri and Kristian appeared behind Isamu, when Dmitri spoke, " Is, we're ready. I hope Jason doesn't get mad, but I still have thier place tagged. I hoped Janie and I could borrow it for a little getaway, but never really got the chance."

I don't mean to intrude on you, but the others have a situation that your particular skills may give them a major advantage in rescuing two of thier own. *Sierra nods once at Kristian before tugging on the gloves to cover the hands and follows behind Avi. she looks back once to get a firm picture of him in her mind then her mind returns toth task at hand. travel with Avi and Tom to find someone named Atlas.
*she hopes it will be an interesting time, but one that isn't filled with anger or fighting.

" I'm sure Alice and Isamu will be willing to assist you, Professor." Mac nodded with a smile. " I believe the teams are preparing to depart. Janie and I will monitor your friend's condition."
Dmitri nodded," That's the only way I can do it, Is. If I go through first, it closes behind me." Janie appeared, with Ashley in tow and Kristian not far behind. Ashley took Isamu's hand, " Here we go again."
