Sandy and Pebbles both offer to surrender and lay still.

"yes, well, er, um, I suppose I'll just leave this with you then" handing the arm to spike tail "you'll be looking for a one-armed bandit" Solaxis tried to tease, not really sure what to say. it was the first time in a long time he could actually recall being at a loss for words.

"Do you mind if I barrow that arm?" Kiadan asks looking it over with a smile. "Genetics is a specialty of mine. I've long wanted a test subject I could use with powers to see if I could repair the genetic damage they have, rendering them normal again. The scientific and medical applications for this are impressive," she says looking at the team.

Spike-Tail chuckles. "Sure thing Doc. I doubt it's much good to me as evidence. Just let me get some prints and a sample for the lab boys for ID purposes."
Scythe (Pard Meso) huffs, looking over his closing wounds. "Control. You would think after the revolution, we would have seen the last of them. This world is free, and they would give it to alien masters. Disgusting."

" Control?" Balus said, looking to where the portal had vanished. " I thought the last of them had all been dealt with." He happened to look down at his damaged uniform and was about to sputter when a thought occured to him. " Oh man, if Control can sneak in here, do you think it's possible they have people on the ship's crew?"

Kiadan lands lightly on the shoulder of the person holding the arm and examines it carefully with her arm. "IF they are able to detatch body parts and they are still working I would very much like to see their equipment first hand for myself."

The group reenters the main hall, where they note that while some of the guests had been injured by gunfire, the majority had not. You see security taking away the Seerman attacker, who was now missing his arms on a stretcher. The arms, severed from the elbow, lay on the ground nearby clutching their weapons, as a pair of security was snapping photos.
Solaxis, you see Von, and she nursing a wound on her left arm, as medics treat her.
Kiadan, you are on Spike-Tail's shoulder as he talks to other officers, and then gets a set of prints off the hand and some blood before handing it to you.

"This will be extermly useful to my scientific studies," Kiadan says with a smile. "I will need to have this moved immediately to my lab right away." She holds the arm gingerly with both her small arms and her tail, hovering in place lightly with the arm. "Had I only been able to retrieve the eye..." she muses. "No matter I'm sure once the knowledge has been gleamed from this arm, I can remove other eyes, after all I AM a genius and it should be nothing for me to do this."

Von is ok; it was only a minor flesh wound and the medics have tended to it properly.
Scythe bows slightly to Balus. "The honor is mine, young man - to fight along such noble men as yourself, I am confident that Seeron will be free once more." He smiles in a not-very reassuring way.
The medical staff offers to pack up the arm for Kiadan for transport to her lab.

after checking on Von and making sure she was alright "I would imagine it will be quite some time before they consider something like trying another coup again, unless ... someone was just testing our abilities and defenses ... " Solaxis trails off in thought
