Solaxis is caught up in Spike-Tail's story, while Kiadan and Balus notice a pair of men - a human and a Seerman, managing to seemingly talk their way past some serious security. Both of them have large briefcases.

" That's kind of odd, isn't it professor?" Balus said to Kiadan. He turned to Spike Tail and Solaxis," Sorry to interrupt. Captain, why would someone bring a suitcase to a function like this?" He thumbed toward the two men he'd noticed.

after Balus brought the men to his attention, Solaxis doesn't wait for an answer and uses his x-ray vision to examine the contents of the briefcases

"It would depend upon the psychological development of the persons in question," Kiadan says. "Though it's not logical unless they contain something they wish to keep hidden."

Rire looks at the men. "Probably not a good reason"
And the cases are shielded Solaxis. The men with them turn the corner going into a utility corridor.

Solaxis looks at the group "let's go introduce ourselves, shall we?" as he made his way toward the utility corridor

" But shouldn't we.." he looked around for security, then shrugged," why not. Von, you may want to stay here." He suggested as he followed the ambassador.

Solaxis nods to Von "it's your choice if you wish to stay behind. did you get anything from them?" referring to her empathic abilities

Kiadan shakes her head. "If they are truly not supposed to be here, indicate it to the proper authorities," she says as if this were common knowledge. "Do you even have authority here?" she asks looking up with a curious expression. Seeing the people already starting to move she lifts up slowly from the bar and takes wing after them, landing on someone's shoulder.

Von shakes her head. "I don't make it a point to pry into other people's thoughts unless necessary. It's against ethics rulings on psionics."
The three of you round the corner to the hallway, accompanied by Spike-Tail. A flash of light erupts from the corridor!
(Kiadan and Balus - roll to save vs. blinding flash)
(Solaxis - the Human has turned into a light form, while the Seerman has a radio, and a portal is opening)

As Balus whom Kiadan is riding on rounds the corner she happens to catch the light completely, and her own body glows as her bioillumination comes on.

Solaxis engulfs the pair and their portal in a static dust cloud trying to disrupt their equipment and the portal until he can get some answers initiative 1d20+6=9 damage 1d4=1, 1d4=3 concentrating to maintain the static dust cloud, he folds his arms across his chest disapprovingly "guests are required to use the main entrance. can I help you gentlemen? you seem ... lost. please identify yourselves" (ooc: control static electricity, does 1d4 from static shocks unless electrical or energy resistant and will engulf them and anyone who enters the area via the portal. if disruption of the portal fails, at least it will affect and disrupt any communications, electronics equipment or energy weapons)

Despite Solaxis' static attack, when the rest of the group recovers their vision, they see
The human intruder now appears to be made of light, with a wicked and menacing grin (MA: 22) The Seerman intruder is now armed with paired Tarlok "Ripper" pistols.
4 Figures have emerged from the portal
A Talus male with a pair of footlong curved horns. His form appears to be that of sand. A humanoid female with blue skin, no hair, an elongated skull and black pupiless eyes, but nonetheless an alluring and exotic figure. (PB: 23) A Seerman female that seems to have form of rough pebbles (PB: 7) and an equally rough demeanor. A Talus female with a spike covered body and a fearsome, hungry look (PB: 8)
Spike-Tail takes a look at the group, noting the colours and markings on their clothing. "Oh, great. Control leftovers. Been a while since I messed up some of you losers."
The Light man goes. "We'll just have to teach you your place again, all of you. So speaks THE LAZER!"

Balus rubbed his eyes, then looked at the group opposing them as he opened the collar of his uniform. " Only lesson I see coming is that you should have brought more partycrashers with you." His fists were doubled and ready for a fight. Int 1d20=7
