"Maybe they flew or some means of magic. but we know they likely went that way" kurff adds getting off Meka and pulling out some food for her. as he did took a nibble out curiosity..

Will slid out of his saddle, and patted his horse before tying the reins to a bush. He wasn't sure why or how he could see in the dark, and it was a little unbalancing to get used to. " The dragon may have flown, but never heard of a cat that can fly."

Derik circles around where they were making camp looking for good ambush points, ad stuff.

Derik - Circling around you manage to find three decent ambush points. One happens to be in the same area of the tracks.

"Maybe its a cat and dragon in one?" kurff added making a face after tasting the raw, salty meat.

"And why are you all greenish tinged? Seems this band is useful after all." putting a magical and non-Magical item side by side he looked at both to see if will was right about the band.

Lazarus looks to Kurff but doesn't say anything as he finishes getting the camp ready seeking out the defendable spots should it come to it.

"Kurff." Derik says. "I need you to help me for something." Pointing to where the second tracks came from, he says, "Can you tell me how it looks on the other side, there? Was something camped there, or just charging through the woods?"

To the group, he says, "I think this may have been an ambush, and not just a meeting up."

"On it come on Meka, Might need that nose of yours," he carefully examines the area indicated. with both crossbows ready. One at the shoulder he scans the forest for movement or signs of ambush.

Kurff - As Meka leads you through the woods going west you are amazed how much you can see in the dark. Following the tracks for almost an hour you come to another path. It looks like the other path from the fork in the road from earlier. You see the horse tracks going back south from where you were. You also see the feline tracks which however continues north. But nothing else in the area of note.

All except Kurff - As you make camp for the night (with or without a fire) nothing extraordinary happens but you get the feeling you are being watched............

~Alright Meka lets head head back south...~ He thought and was worried they were looping around for an ambush or to lip past the party. The feline/dragon tracks were big and something he and Meka could not take alone.

Kurff - You make it back without a problem however you find that you are being watched. You can see slight glows through the trees and brush but nothing coming towards you.....yet. You manage to make it back to camp without incident.

(OCC: Ok I think there might be a slight confusion about the tracks. The feline tracks and the "Dragon" tracks are two completely different sets of tracks. The feline tracks are human sized and the dragon tracks are.....well....dragon sized.)

"Okay Meka," he thought, "I see something." he looks at the glows to gauge how big they are. If they were people with magic items. They could be anyone. But he also recalls Fairy and sprites living in forests...

He knew Dragon droppings about Magical creatures. with crossbow ready he took watch..
