" Fine, I'll give you one of my cards." He pulls a business card from his wallet and offers it to Sasha.

1d100=27Sasha gingerly takes the card offered by Ryne. "You have nothing to lose by trusting me, Ryne," Sasha says as she briefly glances it over.

He took the card back again and wrote an address only two blocks away on it before handing it back again. The card reads:
Ryne Malloy Field Agent National Security Containment Agency 999.067.1010
The agency name rings a bell to Sasha, but she can't place it.
Ryne stops at the door. " It isn't that I don't think you are sincere. The problem is how do I trust anyone else when I don't trust myself? When word reaches my superiors what happened, they have no choice but to bring in another team to apprehend me by any means necessary. I won't get you involved in that."
The telephone rang once as he was closing the door behind him. It didn't ring again, but her caller ID showed :
999.067. 1016 Blocked Cell Phone

Sasha looked down at the phone and then back to the card. "I wonder if he works with Avi and that group," she muses. "Still I suppose if I'm not careful with all these Meta's coming in this could cause serious problems for the bar." She sits down again and looks at the cell trying to figure out if she should call it or not.

A fist pounded on Sasha's door as it opened and one of her bartenders looked in nervously. " Boss, you better come quick. Those kids you threw out were hanging around outside waiting for that big guy that just left. I picked it up on the monitor. He... he just threw one of them acrossed the street like a baseball."

"Right," Sasha said standing up quickly and moving fast, her feet barely touching the ground. Stepping outside of the bar Sasha barely takes stock of the situtation before moving towards the tussle, hoping to intercede on behalf of the teens.
"Ryne this isn't helping your case," Sasha says trying to get the man to stop, putting her hand on his shoulder and trying to pull him away.

By the time Sasha got there, the massacre was all but over. Only one of the attackers was still standing, with the others lying scattered around the vicinity. Except for the one acrossed the street, all of them scrambled to their feet to escape when Sasha interfered, retrieving the unconscious one on the way. Ryne's fists opened as he turned to her," I was only defending myself. Not my fault five on one wasn't a fair fight." There was no sign of emotion in his reply.

"Fair fight or not, Ryne," Sasha says in a hushed tone. "You're putting yourself at risk, it's the equivalant of shooting a toddler with a forty five and you know it."
Shaking her head slightly she sighs. "Look, Ryne you're stressed, come back into the bar and sit for awhile to at least calm down. It doesn't require gifts to tell you're acting suicidal."

" Yes ma'am. I don't care if I live or not." Ryne replied, towering over her," Why should I? With what I've done, I'm not sure things wouldn't be better off."

Uncharacteristically Sasha slaps Ryne. "Come to your senses," she says crisply. "Your friends are dead. By your hand, but not by your will. Being dead will not avenge or help the situation; if this woman is allowed to be out and do this again she will kill and kill and kill."

Ryne's lip only curled slightly at the blow, and his fist doubled up into a fist nearly as big as Sasha's head. " When I need someone to point out the facts, I'll ask for them. What I did is inexcusable, my fault or now. They were my team. My responsibility, whether I was in control or not." He seethed, though he released the fist and lowered his arm.

"If you want someone to baby you when you're acting like a child I'm sure you'll also act," Sasha said in the same crisp tone of voice. "It's also your responsibility to make sure they're true killer is brought to justice. And you need help, Ryne. Whither you want to admit it or not; you need help." She crosses her arms unafraid of the man. "And you can't kill me even if you tried, Ryne. Go ahead. I've been shot and stabbed in the line of duty as a cop. The only way you kill me is if someone switches off powers."

" I don't want to hurt you, Sasha. Waht I need some time to get my head straight. Away from other people." Ryne replied. " And I can't do that in a bar."

"No problem, Ryne," Sasha says with a nod. "Here's sixty bucks, go grab a room at a hotel; if you pay cash no one can track when you checked in." She hands him three twenties from her back pocket. "And call me the moment you think you're about to do something stupid." She offers him her own business card. "It's got the bar; if you can't get me here tell the staff you need my cell."

Ryne wouldn't take the money. " I appreciate the offer, but I'll be at my place. At least that way if someone comes looking, it's not in a public place. " He does however, take her card and tuck it in his pocket. " I should be going, in case someone called the cops."
