Jason grinned. " I'm glad you came with to keep me out of trouble." He turned and went back outside.
Moments later, Alice heard Jason shouting," Ty! Look out!" The door slammed and Tyler was there, out of breath. Outside there was a loud rumbling and the whole building shook frfom something hitting it. He was trying to catch his breth. " I.. came... outta nowhere...."

Jumping at the sound of the rumbling, Alice quickly runs to the door to try to see what was going on.

Tyler stopped Alice before she got too close, but she could see something dark green pass by slowly. " Stay in here unless you want to be a snack. Damned thing was waiting for me at the water's edge. I'm lucky Jas saw it lunge."

Alice looks relieved seeing that Tyler is all right. However, she then looks worried as she looks around for Jason. "Where is Jason?" she asks "Is he ok?"

" I don't know. He was trying to lead it away from me." Tyler replied, peering out himself. There was a slam of a door at the back of the house, and Jason blurred up to stop just short of them.
" Hey, you two okay?"

Alice smiles at the sight of Jason, looking relieved. "I'm ok. Are you ok?"

" Yeah, it never came close." Jason replied. He held out his hand to Alice," I did find these though. Look familiar?" He handed her two small darts.

Alice studies the two darts Jason had handed her closely, trying to see if they looked familiar at all. (Perception: 15)

The darts are similar, if not the same as the ones that were found in the car after ashley and Dmitri were abducted. Jason didn't look happy. " This doesn't look so good."

" What are you two going on about?" Tyler asked.
" That croc isn't a mutant. I'm betting whatever was in these darts is what made that critter grow so big." Jason replied. " But why? No one knows we're..." He looked at Tyler.
Tyler scpwled. " I called Trevor. Either his or my phone is tapped."

Alice looks even more worried when Tyler says this. "Then we're even less safe than we realized." she says softly.

Jason started to get that scared rabbit look to him again, just as he had at the table back at the beachhouse.
" I didn't tell him I was coming here, just that I was back in town." Tyler explained. " He's running the shop, so I wanted to check in."

Alice takes Jason's hand and says gently, "You have to try to stay calm, Jason. Panicking won't help anything. If we work together, we should be fine."
