Lobo will hop on the mountaineer in a spot that he will be able to easily jump out if necessary, near a door, on top, whatever is available.

Once Mariana and Lobe are on board Dyson takes the trail at about 20 MPH.

OOC: If it would obviously be safe to go faster, such as a very clear wide path with little chance mining or ambush the trees on either side, than let me know Dakota.

The path is clear and the mountaineer makes good time for about an hour, and the EPC's trail is easy to follow until it comes to a wide brook. The trail enters the water, but there is no sign of it exiting on the other side.

Inside, despite the Colonel and Ellie's best efforts, Geoff's condition starts to deteriorate as he stops responding to them.

*Mary looks down from her vangtage point to the river-bed. (How deep is it... are there a pair of troughs cut in the bed?)* "we got us a clever bunch, don't we. Wait here a minute, Dyson."

Lobo will hop off the mountaineer and starts to search the area, cautiously, over his shoulder he says to no one in particular, "Something that freaking big can't just disappear."

The creek looks fairly shallow and only about 15 feet wide. The mud on the bottom beyond the shoreline is stirred up, but it's unclear which way it went despite the crystal clear water because of the sun's glare on the water.

Ellie continues to try to help Geoff even though she knows its usless. She will use the ablitly "Induce Sleep" to let him die comfortably and not be in pain.

*Mary Grunts and, climbs down and looks at the river first from ground level (to establish direction of flow, or if mud's flowing from up river, and to see if there are ruts, as a shallow riverbed would show the track ruts of the transport). If that doesn't work, she'll seal her armour (her backpack's in the vehicle) and dip underneath to look.*

The ruts are easy to find as Mary wades in and she quickly determines they turned upstream, and judging by the ruts, it is a heavily used, if well concealed path.

*Mary Grins, and talks into her com.* "Dyson. We head upstream. Eyes open. This is a well-travelled route. I'll need Mendez to keep his lobes open... Sir." *And with that, she signals Lobo onto the ATV*

When everyone is back on board Dyson carefully eases the mountaineer into the the river and turns upstream.

Pulling the mountaineer up to speed against the flow of the river, Dyson yells back to the compartment so that everyone can hear "Did anyone catch a name painted on the mountaineer?"
