((OOC: sorry, Thursdays through Saturdays get difficult for me to keep up sometimes. And the sudden jump to a joint thread had me reading a bit  ) *LT stands slowly as the Dragon leaves but keeps his rifle trained on him anyways. It wasn't a big deal that Lobo stood face to face with him since he expected as much from a jucier. But that the Dragon turned and flew away is what puzzled Takenaka* *nods to Lobo as he stands* Spot anything else? |

OOC: I'm Sorry for not replying, life caught up with me for a day or two. Remember that I don't have any of the SOT books, so if Dyson says something of about Tolkein that's probably why.
IC: When Smith says "I heard there was a war in Tolkein..." Dyson sarcastically thinks to himself *Right, greener than grass Dyson nows more about it than her.* Dyson says out loud "ya, there was a war. Though saying the war was in Tolkein is sort of like saying the CS are in Chi-town, true, but it doesn't give you an idea of how big it was. Not that I saw action." Dyson trails off.
Dyson takes a quick look over of the mountaineer, looking for damage, before checking the ground level door and seeing if there is ladder that would let him get up to the cab.
Dyson doesn't look up when smith says "What's the good word on the ATV?", just saying in reply "I'm trying to be quick and careful at the same time, which is difficult, so give me a minute. the ground level door might be trapped, but if I can't find a better way in soon I'll risk that door." Dyson goes back to work.
OOC: Dakota:
1. Is there any damage on the vehicle?
2. Is there a ladder up to the cab?
3. If there is no ladder and no way up to, or into, the cab Dyson will first look into the window (if any) in the ground level door, trying to spot anything suspicious devices associated with the door on the inside.
4. If there are no devices then Dyson tries the door, just turning the handle to see if it is locked. If it isn't locked then he opens it just a crack to look in. If there is still nothing suspicious then he will make his way up to the cab.

Lobo hears a whistle and pivots around with his rifle ready, he sees and armored figure at the edge of town, "Depends on who is asking!?" He yells in response. Lobo will stay alert looking for signs of others in case of a possible ambush.

*Mariana barely stifles a mocking laugh* "Quite clearly, a trained soldier that managed to find a semi-concealed vantage point in the roof of a building, from which she is able to monitor the comings and goings in the town, is asking." *She responds, staring from the roof to Lobo, and crouching so that she's only barely visible. She takes a little extra time for the Juicer to be able to comprehend it all.. then:* "And I asked you first. So tell."

Lobo looks at the roof of the building where the voice came from, frowns and under his breath: "Great, does everyone here have to have some wise comment for everything I say."

Lobo runs a quick sprint (aprox 50 mph) and jumps onto the roof of the building (he can jump aprox 20 ft vertically), landing next to Mariana, "Nice vantage, just a little accessable for cover." noting her Coalition armor, "I assume friend but these days you may never know, names Lobo. So, who are you and what exactly happened here?"

Lobo looks at Mariana, "I was curious if you knew who was the winner of the cookoff?" Lobo starts to look around the town while still talking to Mariana, "We were sent out to do recon and assault a bunker complex, but that turned into an ambush. Once we got away from that we made our way to the LZ just in time to watch the Helo get shot down, we heard the disturbance here and since we are a gluttens for punishment (Lobo chuckles) here we are."

Lobo watches Mariana head off and yells at her back, "Alright, but don't expect me to hang out up here all day." Lobo will radio Lt and Geoff and fill them in on what has happened and his current location.
