* Sierra's gaze seemed to look through Jason as he spoke. but the following words show her real feelings about most people now 'whatever. it doesn't really matter anymore. i can't talk to you or Dimitri or even Isamu there .. not without your girlfriends being present. i'll continue to tell you where they're coming from .. but don't blame me if you get mooshed cause no one listens to me.'
' i relate what i sense. it doesn't make a lot of sense to me so how the hell am i supposed to know what someone is. i changed early and got hidden while growing up and recovering. believe it or not, i'm used to not being heard. all i know is people change, sometimes for the better most times for the worse .. excuse me .. * she moves over to Kristian's side again and then looks at the other car 'guess we get the other vehicle then. come on .. i'm sure someone will inform you where to drive' *she tugs at his hand and then drops it as she moves to the second car that they had arrived in. she slips inside the backseat and buckles up and says nothing more. she just tries to make sense of everything she's picking up.
* it seems she can pick up on Meta's easily and then to start sussing out their powers. while not perfect, she can also kinda judge how strong they are. now she's picking up these different kind of 'chanty' types. thats disturbing .. but whatever that thing in the basement of the hospital was or what it was that attacked the elevator she has no clue, just that it was utterly vile and scary and bad.
*she remains in the detecting mode and really wonders about this 'control' and what they have on her and her background. she guesses that it was better to have her with an almost blank background. let them wonder, it might do them some good. she knows she'll never go on the road with the family troupe again. all she can do is try not to embarass the name.

Alice looks at Tom and says "While I agree we need to find out more in regards the Mayor, I don't think you should do it on your own. The mayor and his bodyguard have seen you, and it's not safe. Someone is staying behind with you." She looks around to see if anyone volunteers to stay behind.
Looking at Isamu, she nods and says quietly, knowing he is worried about Ashley "We'll do everything we can to get them back safely."

" The mayor's not going anywheres." Jason pointed out, clearly bothered by what sierra said. " and he'll be on his guard now." He looked at Tom," And odds are it's gonna be a scrap to get the others back. And I can't see you passing up another go at the ones from the floodgate. If Deth is there, the others won't be far away."
Kristian nodded," We'll have to be careful with somone as powerful as the mayor. We can't rush in and confront him."

*remains in the backseat of the second vehicle and remains on the alert to warn the others of who's coming from what direction. while she's sad that she hasn't proved herself to be a help, other than to cook large meals for everyone. she still hopes that she'll do something worthwhile to be remembered for.
*she wanders over the track record to date. chasing Kerry off. causing a rift between Tyler and Trevor and the rest. her comment about understanding why Ashley did something. wandering off to be bair for the Meta that attacked Kristian, and look what that did. heck, chances are they probably blame her for chasing off Alice's grandfather. the only thing she has going for her .. she saved Felicity and then helped to save the baby. maybe making Janie fat from baking treats? yup .. great track record. oh look it seems that they've decided to do something, finally.
*she clears her mind of the gloomy thoughts and looks out the side window towards the City Hall. watching to see who's watching them. she finally taps the bandaid and asks 'Kristian? .. think we can get going now? there's at least 2 cars maybe 3. oh and let the others know i don't sense anyone inside my range'

Jason tossed Kristian the keys, obviously sierra had got to him. " I better ride in the other car."
" You sure, mon?"
" Yeah." He gave a 'don't ask' look and helped Tom into the other car before getting in the back seat behind him and staring out the window.
Kristian looked at Alice," I know Sierra was a little harsh, but that isn't the Jason we usually have to tolerate. " He glanced at Soloman, " Coming, Professor?"

Alice simply shakes her head at Kristian as she says quietly. "A *little* harsh? That's putting it mildly." She then quietly gets into the car and waits for the professor to get in and give directions as to where they were going.

At the moment Isamu can care less about the problems between the others. The only thing on his mind is getting to Ashley before anything happens to her.

Kristian shrugged and motioned for Isamu to ride with him and Sierra. When he got in, he looked back at Sierra," what was that all about? We're supposed to be a team, right? I know he upset you with his prank on the beach, but this is something else."
From the back seat, Jason was definitely miffed, not even acknowledging when the others got in the car. Finally, he broke the silence while looking out the window. " Michael is right. I did get his brother killed. I was supposed to be teaching him on a fairly routine mission, but he didn't want to listen. He ended up tripping a booby trap rigged for us after I told him not to the door. and now Sierra...," he groaned, and let it drop.

*Sierra looks at Kristian using the mirror and gives a wobbly smile. 'truth hurts at times. hurts to say it .. hurts to hear it .. hurts when people misunderstand it. .. can't talk to none of them without their girlfriends present or i'll be blamed for something going wrong there too .. '
*she shrugs and motions the other car heading out 'guess we better follow them. but i'm right. people do change. i have. its getting to the point i can understand why THEY join together and wanna hurt the ones that help the government doing the 'good thing'. rate i'm going, i'll fit right in with the Brethren'
*she resumes watching out the window and says nothing more. she simply seals that part off with a little effort and the 'happier' version shows up 'well enough of that kinda talk. so ... think i'll be quiet now .. '

Isamu says, "Sierra, you are nothing like the Brethren. I think Jason knows what he has done and what effect that has had on people around him. More than likely, what he does not like is his mistakes pointed out to him. There are few people who can handle that, especially if the guilt is wearing heavily on them."
