Tom's eyes widen. "Please tell me I'm not the only one who saw that"

Solomon gets out of the car and quickly relays all the information from his visions to Tom and the others.

*Sierra is pale and seems stunned by what she saw* 'he's strong .. but he's not a real Meta .. he's something else ... eww ... ew ew ew ... don't come this way .. '

*the last part is more like telling the bodyguard to go away and not come back. she finishes with a simple 'shoo .. ' which is followed by her blowing at him as if she could really blow him away.

*she listens to what Solomon says and then looks at the others 'mister hands .. from before then? .. but where would they be now? where would he have taken them? .. ' *while she listens, her main concern is the strong sense from the bodyguard and gulps slightly to herself.

[dakota]

" Saw what? " Jason turned to see only the bodyguard." Who, the gorilla? where'd Gremlin go? "

" Better question, mon, what did we just see?" Kristian had the same wide eyed look Tom did.

Jason looked at sierra," Let's ask Trevor and Brittney, she's our best connection to Brethren hideouts. she might even know who the other guy is. Thanks Professor."

[Dome]

"It seems that the Mayor's bodyguard is more than he seems, and knows Micheal if not more of the brethren. Thank you for your help Professor."

*Sierra looks over at Jason and then at the big goon. 'he's NOT human. well he looks it .. but he's not a Meta .. and he just changed into a gross thing and PULLED that kid out of there .. and the kid took off .. why? ... oh .. and he's got a similar feel t the morgue thing. like him' *looks at the Prof*

'this is getting worse by the moment. i honestly think we're in big trouble .. and that Control is behind it somehow. but, color me paranoid. i hear its a wonderful orange color or something ... but if the Bodyguard isn't a real Meta .. what does that make the Mayor?'

[dakota]

[Solomon, I need an IQ check, at -3 because of recovering from the affects of the spell]

" Control is NOT behind whatever is going on." Jason replied adamantly. " What do you mean, the proffessor feels like in the morgue?"

" Calm yourself, mon."Kristian gave Jason a stern look, placing his hands protectively on Sierra's shoulders. " I dunno what the mayor is, but if he's got a monster like that, he's at least a threat."

The mayor's guard was gone back into city hall, non chalant as if nothing had happened, and Michael was long gone.

Kristian got a look on his face, " Isamu, just how strong does that guy have to be to free michael like that?"

[Dome]

"With the strength required, I am more surprised that Michael was not hurt. The encasement was basically the concrete from the sidewalk. It could be possible that the bodyguard has some control over the earth as well. But it did seem more a matter of strength in this case."

[Mierin]

Alice is quiet and pale as she witnesses the bodyguard's transformation and stays quiet as Jason denies that control is behind what was going on. After a minute, she says quietly, "I think the mayor is a meta too. I.. I tried to read his thoughts and I couldn't. It.. it was like he was blocking me... and then he knew someone had tried to read his mind, except he didn't know it was me."

*Sierra looks at Jason 'whatever .. its not important. not Control .. not the morgue .. not the Mayor or anything else' *she gives Kristian a kiss on the cheek and then steps away and studies Jason's face* 'congratulations. i don't like you anymore. you should be happy. its what you do to everyone so you can feel special and persecuted and sorry for yourself. i'll talk to Alice and the others, but you are now DEAD to me'

*she turns her back and looks at the building and takes a couple of deep breaths to re-center herself. 'i'll be okay Kristian, i'll be okay. it just hurts, but i'll be fine. i always recover. i will say that its been fun learning about my power to copy, but this sensing Meta's that aren't Meta's .. or hearing freaky nasty creepy chanty stuff? .. never knew i could do that .. but that bodyguard was NOT Meta or a chanty thing .. so its something else. no offense Professor, but you got a chanty bit to you, like the morgue but not as creepy bad'

*she turns to address the Professor at the end. Green eyes watching his reaction to her description of his 'talent/power' and the possible connection to the person/thing at the morgue earlier

"Yeah, well. I guess we got two problems now: Getting our friends back and finding out about the Mayor. I think we need to split again. The Prof, Alice, Jason, and Isamu, at the very least, should go and find Dmitri and Ashley. I'll stay with anyone else who wants to sneak around City Hall and find out what's going on." Tom looks around. "Sorry. I'm getting ahead of myself. But unless anyone has better ideas?"

Solomon listens intently to all the chatter about metas, the mayor and their friends trying to make sense of it all, but more than a little confused and lost.

"Tom, did you happen to get a snapshot of the bodyguard?" pointing at Tom's camera. "and I have to agree with your friend here. I don't believe the mayor will be so easily classified. I tried to read him as well, and what I saw was no mere mind trick or shield. He was shrouded in darkness. you keep mentioning another like me and a morgue?"

"I saw medical instruments in my vision of where they were taking your friends, but I'm afraid my usefulness to you has come to an end. I need to rest and recover, but I'll continue to try to come up with more information. If I learn anything new, how can I reach you?" once contact info has been exchanged Solomon heads for his bike and his office at the university.

Tom looks through his photos for any shots of the guard.

(Solomon, the mention of another mage that is a doctor reminds him of a chance encounter a few years ago with mage named Fielder who had just graduated medical school. the second man in his vision also reminded him of the same man)

Glancing through, Tom does indeed have a photo of the mayor's protector.

Giving Kristian a hand gesture that everything would be okay, Jason took Sierra aside a bit," He looked her in the eyes, his own not showing the hatefulness she expected," Look, I'm not here for a popularity contest, soo I'm not real concerned if you like me or not. I just know that control itself can't be behind this. Dylin MacColter has been more of a father than my own and he would never do anything like this okay? I'm sorry I got defensive, but to me it would be the same as if I started badmouthing your families' act. You can block me out if you want, but I had to explain so we can at least go along if not get along. Okay?"

[Dome]

Isamu says to the others, "it sounds like someone paid the brethren to capture them. We have a direction why are we not going that way now?"
