just noticed posting seems to have dropped off in many of the games I've joined. any particulars? people seem to be out-of-town and RL is understandable, maybe it's just my luck, but just seems like every game I join trying to increase my interaction time results in that game's posts dropping to nil? not to sound paranoid or anything.
maybe it's seasonal or whatever, but I'm usually available to post daily. I admit, there are games now where another PC responds to me, but I have usually posted my PCs actions in advance, regardless of responses, and seem to be waiting a long time otherwise for something to happen that directly affects my PCs for me to respond to.
seems like there's a lot of new games starting that seem to be getting more attention than other more established games, and I'm just hoping it's not a case of games getting started then loosing their luster and GMs/PCs moving on to greener pastures leaving those of us who prefer certain types of games over others to fend for ourselves?

It seems to go in spurts. At least thats what I have noticed. It may be due to RL issues and what not but it should pick back up at least if it follows the trend that I have seen.

alot of the spurtyness is due to my shift schedule. There are times during my 4 week rotation I don't get opportunity to post

Ditto here, Dakota. If work didn't have an internet comp in our staff room I'd be in trouble.

*nods* things just go in cycles depending on people's schedules. Things really slow down around the new year, given the Christmas holidays.
Shades of Grey has been running for over 2 years.. Golthreia for at least a year (I think) typically while things can be slow (which really is just the nature of play by posts games no matter where you are) they are steady.
