Ellie jumps up as Mikey knocks on the door "Ya, I'm decent." she calls before he opens the door. "Alright, I'm ready," She says as she grabs her bag and equipment. Then She follows Mikey back to the "dinning" area

*The sounds of footsteps behind Ellie on the crunchy ground announce that she's being followed by Mariana. The newcomer gives a polite wave as she sits in the dining area, and not-so-delicately lands a clunky backpack and her rifle on the table, also waiting for the others*
*cirlcking her helmet in her hand, Mariana tries to strike up a conversation* "So, you guys know what all is goign on here yet?"

Ellie hears the crunching noise behind her and looks back to see Mariana waving at her. She waves back with a cheerful smile. When she aproaches the table Ellie lays down her things and sits quietly. Ellie looks to Mariana as she asks her question. "What do you mean?" she asks "Here as in the town or our mission?" Ellie asks.

Dyson acknowledges Rhys and Says " I'll tell you when we have enough distance between us to try and triangulate." Dyson breaks into a jog until he reaches a good enough distance, or possible sees Shep or the kids with the helmet.
If Shep or the kids don't make themselves apparent then Dyson will call up Rhys and say " OK Rhys, ready." then try and bring up Shep's comm again and says " Hey kiddos," *RASPBERRY!!!*.

Rhys nods and over radio to Dyson's first broadcast. "Roger that" He chuckles a bit and tryes to get a fix on the signal if the kids respond to Dyson's taunt.

*Mariana watches Dyson and Rhys with their hide-and-triangulate game, hearing Dyson's challenge over the radio*
"Well, apart from none of them acting their age, *she leans in conspiratorially* What do you think of the guys here?"

Giggles respond to Dyson's teasing before a similar retort is sent back. Shortly after, Shepherd's voice can be heard in the background. "Hey, cut that out. Give me that back." It is quickly followed by more giggling.
The response is long enough to give a fix that puts Shepherd somewhere's near the watermill that Dyson has discovered the previous evening.

Gantry , after watching Mariana depart, gulped as he made eye contact with the Colonel before spinning on his heels and heading back towards the other. "Sorry Sir, it won't happen again." he said as he departed.

Mikey smirked at Mariana's question, but forced himself not to shoot a reply as he sat at the bench, his ammo pack resting on his lap. He looked inside with a whistle and talked to himself." Man, I chewed through way too much yesterday. I hope we've got a resupply coming soon." He reattached the pack to his back and picked up his rifle and began tearing it down, eavesdropping on the conversation. " Would you two prefer I do this somewheres else so I don't distract your girl talk?" He grinned, looking up from the weapon.

being used to a unisex barracks Mendez arches an eyebrow, and wonders what the fuss is about. then says to gantry; " tell the troops I’ll be with them shortly." then he finds a spot to back up his reports on the new chip, and then fill out the morning report. when he is finished with the report he proceeds to the designated area, and calls for everyone’s attention. if some personnel are missing he waits for them to arrive before doing so.

Dyson tells Rhys where he thinks Shep is, then says "I'm going over to get shep now", under his breath "Maby those kids while I'm at it.".
Dyson brisckly walks to the watermill and starts looking for his quarries.

As the pair approached the watermill, Shepherd's voice came into earshot, along with other voices. " Did that cream help with your mom's burn?"
" Yes sir." Answered a child's voice.
"Good. I dropped some more off at Daryn's house. You can get it after we've gone." Shepherd replied, his voice from around the corner of the building getting louder as the pair approached. " Sela, would you give me that back."
A familiar giggle was the only reply as the sounds of little feet pounded on the mill's porch. A small child wearing Shep's helmet rounded the corner and stopped in her tracks at the sight of Dyson and Rhys. Shepherd stepped into view, snatching the girl up in his arms and plucked off the helmet, revealing a quick flex girl, her fearful eyes locked on the two soldiers. Shepherd turned and faced the others as he stood, his smile fading. Daryn and another boy, a trimidore, stepped around the corner carrying Shep's gear. Shepherd turned to the boys as he traded the girl for his equipment." Daryn, take the others out of here."
Daryn nodded and left with his friends, but not before giving Dyson and Rhys a dirty look. Slinging his rifle over his shoulder, eyeing his teammates grimly. " So, the Colonel send you two to fetch me, or just out sightseeing before morning rushhour?"

Ellie smiles at Mikeys response and says "Well I try not pass judgment on anyone in my unit they need to be, especially under paid military men. So far everyone in our unit has pulled their own, which is all I care about." She ends with a shrug. "Oh, and you'll get used to the phases of imaturity, its part of the aging process" she says with a smile. "So where ya from?"

Watching out of the corner of his eye to make sure the children left, Shepherd's expression faded as he focused his attention back to the others. " Uh huh. And it takes the two of you to do it?"
"That doesn't inspire confidence." He added as he brushed past, walking towards the picnic area, looking in his helmet with a scowl. " What the hell did she get all over the inside of this?"
