Isamu who has nothing to add to further along their rouse simply follows along as Lancaster leads them to the viewing area. He does try to keep an eye on those around him in case they are faced with trouble, but he attempts to do so subtly so as not to draw attention.

The theatre was pretty much empty, except for a couple people seated on the other side. As they were getting situated, Mayor Siang came in below and took his seat. As Lancaster left, and went below, another man entered, whispered something to the mayor and then went to stand next to the door with his arms folded. he was an imposing figure, well built at over 6 feet and his hard gaze hidden behind sunglasses.

Solomon, finally relieved that he got to vent a little to the old family friend, finally blew off the encounter in the lobby and dropped the whole thing. Having nothing better to do, he decided to tag along, providing the kids didn't object. He hadn't sat in on a council meeting in some time and decided to play a little catch-up with the current events and "who's who" of the political arena. He quietly settled into a seat to observe the assembly meeting.

Isamu looks down over the assembly. He is able to pick the mayor out of the crowd because of his tv appearances. He looks over at Alice/Rebekah to see if she saw him and is able to get anything on him.

Alice nods at Isamu, indicating that she had noticed that the mayor was there and glances over at the newcomer, wondering who he was as he seemed like some kind of a bodyguard the way he was standing by the mayor. Curious to know what the mayor is thinking, she attempts to read his surface thoughts.

Once again, Alice's efforts are kicked out, just as they were with the young man in the foyer. The mayor's head snapped up and he looked around the gallery. His gaze stopped on the group and he beckoned the large man to come to him long enough to whisper something to him, the big guy looked up, and was out the door quickly.

Isamu noticed the exchange between the pair and the looks in their direction. He stands up and says to the professor, "excuse us a moment."
Having Alice and Tom quickly follow him a few steps away he says, "I think we have been seen. We may be faced with a confrontation soon. Alice, can you change your appearance again? Quickly?"

Alice can't stop her eyes from widening in surprise as she is denied, for the second time that day, from reading someone's surface thoughts. Another thought occurs to her and she almost gasps out loud as she whispers to herself, "The mayor is a meta."
Shaking her head to gather her wits, Alice follows Tom and Isamu and listens quietly. Nodding she says in a low tone of voice. "I can, but I need to find a place to do it where there are no witnesses." She looks around to see if the the mayor's guard is around and move quickly, looking for a ladies washroom so she can change the way she looks.

finding a washroom, Alice finds its empty. Outside, Tom and Isamu are passed by the large man from downstairs, who enters the theatre.
The man approachs Solomon, and despite his deep tone, manages to ask politely," Sir, might I have a word with you outside?"

Solomon looks up at the Neanderthal speaking to him, not sure who he's addressing at first, then realizing he's the one being spoken to as the kids wandered off. "who? me? why, I suppose so. oh, yes. certainly." he stands to walk with the man. "is there a problem?"
having actually caught the look from the mayor and the hushed exchange before he dispatched his goon makes Solomon wonder to himself what kind of trouble he's found his way into? he had managed to learn a few things being a student of the law and politics.
one of them was to pay close attention to your surroundings and the subtle cues given off by others in order to gauge their reactions, without necessarily letting on that you were paying close attention. the 'bumbling professor' routine had served him well many times over.
it was one of the many tricks of the trade his early mentors had taught him in his formative years to help him keep track of other people's agendas, hidden or otherwise, but in this case, he certainly hadn't done anything wrong, but neither had the kids to his knowledge.

Isamu and Tom see the professor led out of the theatre by the mayor's associate and down the hall. The bodyguard abrupty turned on Solomon, and pinned him to the wall by his shoulders, six inches off the ground. The man spoke without expression, " I know what you tried to do. You better have a good reason for trying a stunt like that on Mr. Siang."

Isamu says to Tom, "Cover her escape. No powers unless absolutely necessary. A confrontation here would be very bad." He walks towards the professor and as he approaches he says, "professor, is everything ok? Should I call the police or security? Hey what are you doing to the professor?"
He makes no offensive moves, instead he does his best to act like a frightened college kid, pulling out his cell phone and begins to dial 911.

Tom nods at Isamu. "Done. I'll come back if you need help" He looks to Alice. "You get out of here, get to the others. I'll follow you out." Tom follows Alice out the door.
