GENDER: Male AGE: 25 Level: 4
ALIGNMENT: Unprincipled LAND ORIGIN: Manestique Imperium, raised in Chi-Town

Bio:
Shep got his nickname early in his career based out of Lone Star for his tendancy to get assigned to recovery missions and an officer joked that he was like a shepherd, always going after lost sheep. He served under Colonel Jamison Sykes, who he made a strong connection with because both of them have a passion for fishing. The Colonel took a liking to the young ranger and gave him some good advice on how to make the right decisions to advance his career without losing his freespirited outlook. It also gave Shep ( who almost no one calls Carson) some inroads with Lone Star's officers and soon he had his choice of assignments. Unfortuneately, he just as quickly proved he didn't have what it took to be an officer when he was given an opportunity to run a mission of his own.
His info turned out to be incomplete and shep led his squad straight into an ambush. He lost six men right away and the rest of them were captured. Only Shep and one other escaped. It was later proven that Trassk was not at fault and he was awarded both his first Crimson Heart and the Iron Star for the bravery he displayed both making his escape with a wounded companion and turning the tables on his captors by leading them into an ambush of his own with the help of another squad. He takes no pride in wearing either on his uniform and only does so because he is required to. After making his recovery, he floated between squads doing what he did best, tracking down missing in action soldiers until he got tired of itand asked for reassignment.
In his file are:
- Three letters of reprimand, two for disobeying orders and one for striking an officer.
- Four letters of recognition for valiant service above and beyond the call of duty, none containing any specifics, but one was from the New Town incident, one from Tolkeen and two from the skirmish with Free Quebec.
- The acompanying certificates for several medals and awards: airborne Qualification badge, Marksmanship Badge, Field Experience Badge, 2 Irons Stars, 4 Crimson hearts, the Minnesota Cross and a Distinguished Service Medallion.
-several promotion certificates up to the rank of 2nd Luietenant, and one demotion decree taking away the rank of luietenant signed by Major Quinton Marshall, the same officer that signed the Free Quebec letter of recognition. He is also the same officer named in the letter of reprimand for striking an officer. The most recent is that he holds the rank of Warrant Officer. He has since declined two promotions to Luietenant.
- the final thing in his file is a handwritten letter from General Sykes, that eloquently states that until Trassk is willing to accept the responsibilties and the promotion to 2nd Luietenant, the highest rank he may hold in the field is that of Sergeant since Warrant Officers is not a field rank. Hence he is to be addressed to as sargeant by his superiors until such time he accepts the promotion. It is also classified information not to be shared with any of his other commanding officers.
An ammendment is attached that authorizes Trassk field assignment while retaining his current rank. There are no terms or explanation given , but the ammendment is also signed by General Apollo Lucitonis, Head of Department of Special Divisions (DSD).
