"Excuse me." Says the video room's supervisor. "This is a quiet work area. Please do not distract the armed guards. Regardless of your abilities. Not here."

He shrugged and was about comment on how he might conjure the guard a sense humor.
but thought better of it.

Having rightfully restrained himself, Quinn, Windchill and Tharsis all found their way into the video room. Troubleshooter already had the video cued up. There was a single monitor for them, split into four screens, presumably for four cameras. In the middle of the top left is the van they came in.
"Alright, here are the street cameras." Says Troubleshooter. "And there's us. Now, we'll move it ahead slow."
After hitting the keys for all to see, the officer maning the machine moves it forward fairly slowly. Eventually, their van pulls out, as traffic (foot and car) move by. One was the new Toyota model, looking pretty snappy, even in the grey-monochrome of the monotors.
After another few seconds, the telephone van drives by. "OK, freeze it, for a second." Troubleshooter says. "Let's get a logo here.
The officer focuses in for a second, showing the logo on Kendall's van. That is, for an independent telephone contractor. "Arlight. Now, where did they go."
As they watch, they see the van move off the screens in turn.
"Hmm." Says the officer. "Let's try Stalker's Corner." After a view switch, they see the van pull in to an alleyway up the road. "He must be new at this to choose that alley."

"Or wants us to think he is. He might be leaving a trail of breadcrumbs." he looked at the officer dropping any sense of frivolity or joking.
"Can we get any images of the driver or reflections of him in the mirrors? How about local business do they have security tape we can get look at that might get a better view?" Quinn asked the officer. Since he seemed knowledgeable about the area or should have a friend who was.

"You won't get any better quality info from the neighbours." The technician said. "But, let'S see what Stalker's Alley has to show us..."
Zooming in on an alleyway, they can see two people. One looks somewhat professional, like some kind of technical engineer, the other a bit of a bum.

Jamison watched the monitor. " Wouldn't it be alot simpler to do this in person? Or do you have some sort of ID program you can put his image into?"

"We want to know who he's interested in." Troubleshooter says. "We all approach him at once, we won't get that answer. We could all leave one at a time and walk by and record it..."

"Running the ID might get something, observing them from street level would be of greater help." Quinn looked at the van, "Is that a stolen van or just painted? If its we might find a list of ex-cons or others willing to paint for a fee. at the very least give us list people who can and shorten the list."
"Trouble shooter, do think they'd consider a homeless person a threat? I've seen the be totally ignored. I can a dress up slum it in the neighborhood...maybe someone knows something?" he asked.

"Well," Troublershooter says. "Either he's the bum or the engineer, and that engineer seems able to ignore bums. Wouldn't hurt to try it."
He turns to Tharsis and Windchill. "What suggestions do you two have?"

" We could split and check them both out." Jamison replied. " No since turning our backs to one oro the other until we know who we should be concerned with."

"Alright." Troubleshooter says. "I will followup on the engineer, Arcadian, you and Windchill work on the homeless angle. I would like Tharsis on call in case I need the van tracked."
"Well, he'ld better move fast..." Says the technincian. "I'm up to current, and watch this." He replays again on stalker's Alley, and they see the Engineer disappear after a moment, and then his vehicle enters the street nearly hitting a man. Then drove off.
"Oh, it's a truck, not a van." Says Troubleshooter. "Much easier to track."

"Got it. I have a few ideas, And I figure a few 'donations' and I'll have a good lead or two." he answered, "Don't Get that Trench coat in trouble, If you do give call." he saluted Trouble shooter.
"I'll be outside waiting for you, Windchill. I saw a Hot dog cart.." he said with grin pulling out a five dollar bill.

" That guy needs to switch to decaf." Jamison deadpanned as he started walking towards the door. " I'll find a good place to overlook and check in when I'm in position"

Watching Quinn go, Troubleshooter turns to Tharsis. "I think he's like that normally, actually. Windchill, you're only there to make sure he doesn't get himself killed. Let him poke around."
"Tharsis, if you're going to follow the truck, go now. He already left and has a headstart on you."

" Later folks, I'll keep in touch." Jamison said as he headed for the door. As soon as he was outside, he drew his blade and changed into Tharsis, taking flight on the run. He keyed his radio," I'm up. Trying to find the truck now."
