Background: All Jeremy ever wanted to do was fly. He grew up on earth, where his father, head of a large farming conglomerate, wanted Jeremy to stay on earth and one day run the company. This held little draw for Jeremy as he spent most of his youth looking into the sky and watching the ships fly over head. As soon as he was of age he joined the Fleet and quickly proved himself an apt pilot. He really had no desire to be in the military but he knew that if he wanted a chance to fly and get into space, “The Fleet” was his best shot. He moved up the ranks and was trained and used to fly all manner and size of ship. He was a bit careless and wild, always pushing whatever craft he was in past its design limits. His last flight for the military was a simple cargo run from an orbiting ship down to the planet to pick up some produce. After making his pickup, Jeremy started to leave the atmosphere. He wanted to see how well this cargo ship was built, so heedless of the advice of his co-pilot and the stated ship tolerance; he pushed the ship into a full flip. The cargo ship barely held together through the whole flip. Once they docked and the unloading started, it was discovered that most of the produce was damaged in transit due to the aerial maneuvers.
Since this was not the first wild and crazy stunt Jeremy pulled, the captain added this incident to the record making it the final nail in the coffin for his military career.
After leaving the Fleet, Jeremy, now going by the Nickname “Flip” took any piloting job that would come his way. This would eventually land him on “The Galaxy”
