Personality: Due to his accident and his new limbs, Peter leans toward a state of depression. While he hasn’t been diagnosed with clinical depression his gloomy personality definitely shows his unhappiness for the way his life has turned out. Before his accident he had been a serious yet happy individual, enjoying life out of the military and happy that his company was blossoming. Although he had always had a smile while doing business before, which added to his draw for many of his clients, he now feels he has little reason to smile and when he does, most around him can tell that it is forced.
Appearance: Peter does not wear any armor, uniform, or costume since he isn’t out trying to be a hero. Instead he dresses in his normal work clothes of jeans and a tshirt. His face almost seems permanently etched with a frown making his fair skin and light colored eyes seem clouded and dark. Because of the great work done by the doctors at the Regault Foundation no one can really tell that his Left arm and hand as well as both his legs are not his own. The Plastic skin put in place over all his implants looks natural, but doesn't tan like normal skin does so if he hasn't had the foundation touch it up to match his skin pigmentation, it may seem that he has some kind of pigmentation problem
Background (history): After working in the military specializing in communications for 10 years, Peter Kendall decided it was time to leave the military and start his own company focusing on the one area he came to really like, wireless communications. Instead of hiring many employees he did almost all of his own work, and hired subcontractors for the things that one man couldn’t do alone. On one job his client hired the subcontractors that would build and erect the tower that he would have to at one point climb and affix the communication dishes and antennas. Peter wasn’t pleased because the contractors that were hired were not known for quality work. One day he visited the site to check their progress and schedule a time to come and attach his devices. As he walked between the concrete foundations and examined the tower’s support structure a crane began to topple. Unable to get away from the tower in time, the crane fell over onto the tower. The tower, not strong enough to hold up itself and the weight of the crane began to collapse. Kendall was caught beneath the structure. As steel cable and metal supports began to fall all around him he was pinned as some of the tower was forced down on top of him. His legs were completely crushed, and a flying steel cable severed one arm. He also sustained damage to his ribs and the loss of one eye and hearing out of one ear.
While he did survive, it was only by a small margin. He lay in a hospital bed in a coma for several months barely holding onto life. The doctors thought there was no hope for him at all. Since he had no relatives or friends that came looking for him they assumed he had no one, which is when the Regault Foundation stepped into the picture. They decided that perhaps there was something they could do for this man. After all he was hurt working on a contract for one of its children companies. They moved him to a private facility and continually monitored him. When he finally came out of his coma(several months later) one of the directors came and spoke with him. They told him the extent of his injuries, and what they would mean on the rest of his life. They explained that they were willing to help him recover and pursue a normal life, however the means they had were not considered normal. They would fund everything; he just needed to agree to be a test bed for their new medical technology. After lying in bed for several days not being able to do anything for himself, and deliberating the choice laid before him, he finally came to a decision. He asked one of his nurses to contact the medical director; he was ready to restart his life.
Once his bionics were installed Kendall was able to leave the hospital and continue with his previous career. He has no desire to be a super hero, only to be left alone and live his life. Not to say he would turn his back on saving someone’s life in put in a situation, he will just not be looking for work in the field. While he has a great many abilities because of his augmentations, he tries not to use them in his daily life, and some of his added “features” he has not even attempted to use.
He still must visit the facility on a monthly basis for diagnostics and maintenance on his additions.
