* Sierra slips the jacket off and lays it across one of the kitchen chairs and looks over the shoulder 'awesome .. just right .. now we need to put *measures off one cupcake in the tray to demonstrate* 'that much into each one .. i already sprayed the tin .. and if we end up with empty parts .. we'll just fill it with water and trick the stove .. so they all cook at the same speed ... '

*then she's moved back to the counter and the short sleeves reveal the strange skin that 3 long months of it being accepted at face value has her comfortable. she continues with the making of the salad and mentions 'kinda cool .. guess if yer ... yup you are .. yer registered on my Meta-radar .. i can copy you if i needed to. you and Alice are both that Psychic meta type .. i can copy her .. but i haven't really had a lot of time to practice with anyone and their powers. started with a couple of them, then those lessons dropped

*shows Britney where the pans sit in the fridge and then smiles as she sets the dishes in the sink thats filled with hot soapy water. then finishes the salads and sets them in the fridge 'so .. you wanna coke or other kind of soda? .. the others like it .. me? .. i'm a milk and water kinda kid .. ' *grins and wonders if she'll say anything interesting

Tom, feeling the need to change the subject, looks around. "This is a really nice place. How do you afford the...hey! You're on the beach!" as he looks outside "Wow."

He wheels around in the chair to look outside, and his left hand reaches down to where on his chair was the pouch where he kept his camera. "Oh, right. The police took it from the park. Drat." Looking around, he sees the handles on the back of the wheelchair, and an uncomfortable expression crosses his face. "Right. Not my chair."

[Mierin]

Alice smiles weakly. "Yeah, it is a nice view." Seeing Tom reach for his camera, she says "We'll try to get you a new one you can use."

Tom smiles back "It's no big deal. I talked to the cops and gave them a story so I'm hoping I can get my chair back, and maybe the camera too. Just would be nice to get my chair back." Looks around "So, uhm, how long have you been hanging out here?"

" Jason, get back here mon," Kristian called out inside behind Alice and Tom," I'm not finished"

" Yes you are." Jason's voice trailed from the stairwell.

" Somethings never change." Trevor said from the doorway, his back turned to the patio doorway. He turned, and spoke lowly, " Allie, can we talk before Brittney and I take off?"

Brittney did what Sierra told her, if a little sloppy. " That's cool you can copy me. Whatever's cold is fine. " She paused a moment before continuing," Trev said you copied him once and freaked out, something about fire."

[Mierin]

Alice answers Tom, "Oh we've been here 3 months or so. Our last place got trashed and we had to move. That's where Trevor, Torment and Tyler and Felicia, that's Ty's fiance and their little one are living now."

Alice nods at Trevor and says "Sure, just give me a second." Turning to Kristian, she tells him "If you're not done your exam, finish it. If he complains, tell him to see me." Her voice sounds cold, even to her, and she wonders if she's finally starting to become a leader like she had been training to be with Will, and a small part of her in the back of her mind wonders what it'll cost her.

Once Kristian has left to follow Jason, she turns to Trevor and says in a quieter, gentler tone "What did you want to talk about?"

*Sierra's head pulls out of the fridge to study Britney and then finishes 'yeah ... i got a problem with fire ... or did ... watched a fire cook everyone or nearly everyone i cared about .. train broke down .. and then a forest fire hit ... listened to my friends die ... still miss Bubba ...

*passes over a can of soda - cream soda - and observes what she did and then nods 'awesme job .. lets get them into the over then ... and then we can deal with them after they're cooked

Isamu asks Ashley for a walk on the beach. As they walk down the beach he tells her he was worried about her when she almost fell. He also asks her what Avi needed to speak with her about.

Seeing Alice leave, he starts to look around the place and he moves his wheel chair using magnetism. He looks at jane "You think anyone would mind if I take a look around?"

*choosing to keep her a little offbase she continues with a simple 'yeah ... seems i don't remember the next part ... but it seems i took a header into a building ... go figure ... never felt it ...

' .. so can you show me some of the things you do? .. might be useful if i have to save someone and you're in range ... the others don't train with me. guess they got stuff to do and all that ... *gives the impish grin she's known for and waits

" You mean like this?" Brittney smirked in return as her soda can rose up into her waiting hand. Or like this? Her voice popped into Sierra's head. It was easy to see she enjoyed showing off. " I can't show you alot of it in here. Last thing I want is to smash up your place."

" By all means. There's an elevator right over there." Janie replied, pointing it out to Tom. " I could give you a quick tour while Alice is busy if you want?" She offered.

Ashley rested her head on Isamu's shoulder. " I'm okay. I knew you'd come to my rescue. In fact, you two reacted so quick, nothing had chance to happen anyway. It just caught me off guard is all." She held up her hand, and her energy claws sprouted from her fingertips. " I could have cut my way out with these if I had to."

She sighed as he asked what Avi had wanted." He wanted to know more about the Cure I took. He was just paranoid that there's more to it than just nulling our powers for a bit. But thats all it does, and every once in a while, I need that to remember what it was like."

" I'm done the exam, it's his treatment your boyfriend is avoiding. I'll take care of him." Kristian replied before heading down the stairs after Jason.

Trevor looked at Alice for a moment, measuring his words. " I'll be honest up front, this wasn't my idea, and don't ask who convinced me to even come here. But for the sake my friends that work with you, I'm willing to accept your apology."

He paused a long moment to let his words sink in before his familiar grin appeared," Just kidding. " He held out his hand," Truce?"

Alice starts to frown as Trevor's words sink in and she isn't sure how to react until he grins. She nods quietly and says, shaking his hand, "Truce." She then waits to see if there is anything else he wanted to talk to her about.

Isamu nods his head in understanding. "I too am worried about that drug. I hope that it has no negative side effects. That and the just as with any drug, the possibility of addiction is my only concern. I have come to care about you immensely, and to have something happen to you would be very difficult for me to face."

*Sierra grins as her sense pick up the 'waves' from Britney's powers 'oh thats so cool .. we got maybe another 5 minutes or so. so how about we practice outside? .. that is if you don't mind. i think its really cool to be able to do things like. kinda like a 'secret weapon' or something.

*she shrugs and takes her bottle of water and moves to the porch 'either way, we can open the door for fresh air' then she tries and her voice appears in Britney's head -= like this? .. you coming? =-

*she merely grins at Britney's stunned look. 'like i said .. i'ld love to practice more. grew up with tons of practice .. but haven't tried since i got here. so .. you like spicy food or bland?' *the sun gleams off her scales, a sign of good health.

Tom smiles "A tour sounds nice." as he wheels towards the elevator.
