Gabby continues to follow Orka, unphased by his glaring. "Who's coming? What's the plan, Stan?" Noticing his injury, Gabby grimaces. "Ouch! You doing all right, Buddy? Looks like you hurt yourself."

"Mansion, we have Attuma as well. We need back up...fast." she radioed back to base, "Where are they now? have them meet as a spot and I will open a portal to them." I can intercept them with a portal she thought. looking to rest.
"We going to call the military in? this is their backyard. I can place a portal but unless you can get him through as Thor did." Blink adds twirling a pin in her hand.

"Blink, we're on a beach. The military has nothing to protect here, they just use it as a test range. Maybe if they were here already, but otherwise we are on our own until the rest of the team gets here." Melissa replied as Attuma belowed at them. "Blink, unless you have a trick to find Cap or know Logan's girlfriend's address, Hawkeye and the others in the quinjet are the only back up we have." She looked over her shoulder at the familiar sound in the distance , "Right on queue, Hawkeye."
Turning to Attuma, Melissa did the unthinkable. She shouted back to Attuma, "The great big guy? He went that way." She replied, pointing towards the direction Gabby and Orka had gone.
"You have just saved the lives of you and your companions." Attuma replied, turning in the direction Songbird pointed and the pair headed off that way, though Tiger Shark eyed them menacingly.
"Mel, what are you doing?" Eric asked in surprise.
""Now we have time to come up with a plan." Melissa shrugged.

Orka tried as he could to ignore Gabby, but she easily distracted him, "Have you no off switch? I think that madman Wilson talks less than you. Yes, I am injured, but I have made a call for help from a source Attuma will never suspect. " He hesitated as he looked up at the strange plane approaching, "The question whether he believed me or not."

The quinjet raced along the coast towards Montauk. "Hawkeye, how exactly do you know where we are going?" Black Widow asked
"I worked with the Thunderbolts before. I know a few of their favorite haunts." Clint repled with a shrug.
"And?" Natasha fished with a sing song tone
"Nevermind, nosey." Hawkeye smirked.It faded quickly he he heard Blink's transmission. "Attuma too? What is this, seafood's revenge day? Simon, think your jet lag is over enough to dance with some Atlantean heavy hitters? Looks like we're going to have our hands full."
Across from him, the young brunette stirred, then opened her eyes and looked at Simon, "Who the hell are you?"

"Okay, so some of your old fashionness is sweet, but this is overkill. Getting me killed is no way to get a next date you know." Felicia replied, still clearly shaken. "Wait, almost there. Take next alley on your right down two streets and then round the block. Oh my god, I've never gotten home this quick. If it wasn't so insane, it might just be fun."
In Steve's pocket, his card had vibrated yet again. Whatever was going on, there was a fair bit radio chatter being converted to text for him.

Once the kiss broke, Mariko wrapped her arms over Logan's shoulders, "So this is not going to be a very long visit is what you are saying?" As she asked, she steped even closer, so her body was pressed up against his. As she did, she felt something that made her smile, "But, it feels like it won't take much to encourage you. Who says old men need little blue pills? She grinned as she teased.

I can port to the raft and Mansion Blind from how far? I have made ports to Japan from the states our mansion is not difficult. Plus with the card, I might be able to pull off a line sight at that range. Have some faith in me." she grinned with a touch of pride and comradery. though bothered at being called out on that so-called lack of teleporting Prowess she was not going to hold that against her. there were bigger issues and Mel did not know her full range of abilities. " Why would a deep sea warlord come to a beach on within a firing range of a Military site instead of swim around?" she muttered, " Straight-line tells us he is in a hurry or desperate. We can use that. This will sound un-avenger like but I have to ask. Is there any weakness we can employ against him like super road salt or other dehydrating agents? at his power level Caps shieild, an exploding arrow or power punch won't be a huge threat. Wonder if our Military friends have anti-Atlantis weaponry we can borrow..?" she pauses, " Eh, they probably will have too much paperwork or will be 'this is against the Geneva convention. we can't in good spirit give it to you'. So We need to hit him where it counts..by either destroying what he wants or taking away his means to get what or who he wants." she stated. |

He turns to Hawkeye, and says. "There's no amount of jet lag that'll keep me out of action."

Gabby chuckles at that comment, genuinely amused. "Now, THAT'S funny! I have to tell Deadpool you said that! He'll really be amused by that. Or he might feel a bit competitive. It's hard to predict with him." Gabby shrugs, "It all depends on who's writing for him."
Looking curious, Gabby can't help herself form asking. "Oooh, who did you call for help?" Gabby adds, "Do you want MY help?" Grinning at him, she continues, "I'm sure he'll believe you. You have an honest face." It's clear that Gabby is paying Orka a genuine compliment and isn't making fun of him.

Felicia's directions were easy to follow despite the distraction of a constant string of messages texting into Steve's communicard.
"There! The one just before the lights." She said, pointing over his shoulder to a parking garage entrance. "You will come up for a little bit, won't you?" She asked as they turned off the street, her tone with an almost begging tone.

"come on... come on...," Melissa said, ignoring Blink as Attuma and Tiger Shark continued on. Once they were definitely out of earshot, she turned to Blink while pulling her Communicard, "Hawkeye, land in the grotto, we'll meet you there."

"Blink, I'm not trying to belittle you, just I had a plan and could not explain it with the bad guys in front of us. " Songbird explained. "Erik, head back to the grotto and explain to the others everything that is going on. Blink, open us a portal in the direction Orka and Gabby went, about three querters of a mile from here. If we aren't almost on top of them, I'll fly us closer. Then need you to portal Orka and maybe Gabby, depending if she'll go with, back to where we first got here, and then open another to send our unwanted guests somewhers nice. Antarctica, or Siberia works for me, you decide. I'll cover you. Works?"
"Works."Eric replied with a nod and headed off.

Orka shook his head, his eyes showing his disbelief, " I..., are you attempting to stall me?" The bigger man stopped and he stepped directly in from of Gabby and looked down at here with narrowed eyes, "Are you in league with Attuma? Is that why you are harassing me? So that they can can track you while Tiger Shark pursues us? Answer now." As he demanded a reply, the giant Atlanteans hands began to sqeeze into giant fists

Tabitha groaned at the quick maneuvee. The look on her face as she looked at Simon was a bit puzzling. "So you're an Avenger too?"

"Works for me, a desert for Attuma makes sense. It'll delay them at best. The Antarctic should do, fewer people." she nodded, "Can't we get a more permanent holding cell from Namor's people, at the raft or Maybe at the X-iles palace? Pretty the Time Broker or Heather can come up with something too. Remind me to contact them after this. Always wanted to put a fish tank in the palace." she grins opening a gate. it opened with blink, "Ready when you are."
