Unable to hide her surprise, Gabby looks Orka in the eye and replies, "No, I'm not in league with Attuma. To be honest with you, I have no idea who either of those guys are." Gabby pauses, "Or are they women? I really shouldn't assume their gender either way." Gabby shrugs, "I'm not trying to stall you so they can pursue you or whatever. I saw someone interesting so I came to say hello."

Melissa smiled at Blink's enthusiasm, "I like your thinking, but we only want to detour them for now, since they haven't done anything here yet. Go get Orka and Gabby first and we can stick to the plan. It will take those two long enough to get back from the south pole, and it's not like they will recognize any of us when they do." Mel said as she started to follow Eric. "You need help, call on you card, and I'll be there as quick as I can."
Ahead of them, the quinjet was already coming in for a landing in the hidden grotto.

"If I haven't pissed Cap off enough to get the boot since I got here, I'd hate to see what you topped me with." Tabitha chuckled. "I joined with Blink a while back..., um, you heard about one of SHIELD's helicarriers crashing? We met then and joined not long after."

"You... you are serious, aren't you?" Orka made a strange sound it took a moment to realize was laughter. "Dearlady, you have nosed into the person's business in this case then. You really should go back to your friends before anything happens." A show of concern seemed odd coming from the giant.

Cap's card finally seemed to be settling down in his pocket as Felicia smiled coyly, "Why Steve, what makes you think there's anything wrong with a little reckless? I didn't say I wasn't having fun, you just caught me a little off guard." She stepped forward, much closer, "When I know it's coming, that's a totally different story."
"Steve? Hi, I thought that was you." Came a familiar voice down the block, where Mary Jane and Peter Parker were walking towards them.

"Well..., it's going to take more than words to prove it." Mariko replied, looking away teasingly while wrapping her arms around herself. "Especially considering how long it's been since I've even heard from you."

Steve smirked and was about to respond when the Parkers interrupted. "Oh, hello again." He waved, then looked to Felicia. "Wait, you know the Parkers? Small town." He allowed himself a small chuckle.

"Yet? hasn't he tried to conquer the world a few times?" she smirked, "Right I'll deal with Gabby and her new friend if she happens to have talked him into submission. this should be easy. Hell, we could recruit Orca as an avenger maybe if she was really convincing?" blink jokes redirecting to the portal as it is needed then goes through. It was best to get there sooner before Gabby sold him the golden gate bridge.
"Howdy, How are we doing today?" she asked both as she stepped out, "We good here? You good to go, Gabby?" she nods to orca. She saw no reason to go in fighting as there was no fighting they could hear so once through the portal Blink played nice.

Gabby nods and says, "I am!. Gender identity is serious business." Grinning when she realizes Orka is showing concern, Gabby replies, "Oh don't worry about me!" Gabby starts to flex and pose as if she were a body builder. "I'm much tougher than my outwardly sexy appearance would suggest!"
When Blink comes along, Gabby simply nods and says "Everything is fine, thanks!" When she mentions leaving, Gabby says, hoping Blink gets the hint and doesn't signal for anyone to attack. "Nah I'm good. I want to hang out here a little longer. You guys can head out though if you want."

"Mel, says we have a tight schedule to keep. Told me to get you, but I can tell her you are on the way. We have uninvited guests to detour and could use all the help we can get." she nods looking to Orka,"the two that followed you out of the water to be more specific. Feel free to help if you want. Since Gabby here trusts you I can teleport anywhere want after the fight. your call Orka." she opens a portal and readies to step through. how she answers on the other side depends on who follows her she may have to cover for gabby. Blink was happy to do that. |

Simon nods at Tabitha. "Yeah, I heard about that." He shrugs and adds, "I hope I haven't pissed him off too much... me and Cap have history. Anyhow... welcome to the Avengers I guess."
