Trial moves from cover to cover to get a good firing position on the pair approaching from the opposite side.

After a short bit, Chaz joined the others in the cargo bay. " Not the worst landing I've had. You kept us all in one piece, Windrider. " He looked around at the others from behind his sunglasses, scowling. " Sorry folks, this wasn't what I had in mind when I hired you on. and it looks like this thing needs major repairs before I get it airborne again."

The other pair of 'salvagers' hadn't noticed Trial yet, but they had an easier approach route to the downed craft. They'd get there first easily.

Kat nods at Chaz and says "Sometimes unexpected things occur. I'm going to go outside to make sure no one is sneaking up on us so you can focus on the repairs." Kat then grabs her armour and heads outside to find a place to hide as she keeps watch, looking for any signs of trouble.

Justice made her way to her quarters and put on her armor, then exiting with her guns on her hips she made her way towards the outside, needing fresh air. Her head was still ringing as she walked but she was sure with unrecycled air her head would clear. She carefully made her way through the mess of boxes towards the exit. She couldn't help but smile at the monkey and his human. She said nothing, as there was nothing to say at the moment. She knew nothing of fixing craft such as this, and suddenly longed for her horse that she had left behind so abruptly. She sighed and walked outside.

Trial figures that since he can't catch up to them before they make it inside he had better engage them before they reach cover. He finds a good position of cover. Braces his Plasma cannon and takes an aimed shot for the head of the closest scavanger.

Things happened fast. Kat and Justice never saw Trial or the other pair until Trial's blast caught one of the others in the helmet just as he had leveled his own rifle at Justice. The other took a glance at his companion and disappeared into the underbrush.

Trial keeps his plasma cannon at the high ready and advances toward the one that he shot, if he gets back up Trial will fire again. If not he will watch for fire from the underbrush.

Trial advances on the body and will search it for anything useful.

Kat comes into view, and Trial sees a tall elven woman with bright blue and purple hair, carrying a rifle. "I'm Katherine. Thank you for the assist." Pointing to Justice, she introduces Justice and asks Trial "What brought you out here? The crash?"

Wes shook his head at Windrider's response. " Uh you might want to remember he's a good shot with that rifle he's got." He said under his breath.
From the doorway, Chaz spoke as he appeared," Now who's shooting at us?"
Trial found nothing of interest on the body, and the old L-20 he'd carried didn't look like it was worth dragging out here in the first place. He did however recognize the corpse from town, another visitor that was avoided by the locals.
