Background WIP

Kalissa never knew who her family was...only that she was dropped in an orphanage or what passes for an orphanage on the station. Basically it was one of the least corrupt people who took in children and did they best she could for them. So Kalissa grew up with her little gang which admittedly stole things that they needed to survive with also donations from a man known as Crowley.

Crowley himself was one of the kingpins on the station but that itself was a tenuous position and much like Earth it was the irish vs russian vs Italian type mafia's. Crowley was leader of the Irish of course and despite all things was not the worst of the leaders actually making effort for what he considers his people. As such Kalissa despite all things grew up with her Uncle Crowley keeping a watch on her as she blossomed into a young lady and even gave her some special training so she could survive being one of the only girls in the orphanage and definitely the prettiest. That would be of use to Crowley when she was older and he wanted to make sure though that she had a chance especially with the lawlessness of what goes on on the station.

Age 15

His training was good as she was often able to slip in to areas that only saw a pretty face and get something that normally would be difficult. It was on one of these journeys that she was given the task of heading to one of the Russian parties to steal the sapphire of Alroon. She had managed to get everything in order and even broke into the safe to get the gem when it was discovered that this was a trap. She was captured and beaten and helf for hostage. See Tzar as he called himself knew someone was infiltrating and decided to set this up and capture her. He then set a ransom and was honourable to the point of other then beating to keep her pure as he had plans which after the ransom was done he decided to send her to his own labs to see if they could do anything....(see unknown part)

Age 16

She was then sent off to the slave arena to be bid on but Lucky her ship was attacked by Crowley. Crowley himself felt immense guilt and wanted to get his niece back and did so successfully. However she was somewhat broken and damaged and took years to get back on track but she had not an inkling to continue in her life as it was before but something new did show up...her natural aptitude for mechanics. Something that was nourished and blossomed. For several years she continued to work with her uncle and doing things for him and advancing his group until it was discovered she was still being hunted.....

Age 18

Being hunted was somewhat of a problem and hiding her so a big war was declared by Crowley against the Russians and the Irish actually came out on top. The problem was now what to do with her as many men were lost in the war and the remaining were absorbed into the Irish Mafia but held some resentment against the fact that the base had a fight on their own version Helen of Troy. As such it was agreed for the time being that she had to leave...it was not that she could not visit but could not live on the starbase any more until things cooled off.
