Calvin hears the call about the MPs wanting custody, and frowns. Don't know that there's much we can do about it, is there? we're on military property... He looks at Alice. "What's the call, chief?"

Hearing what is coming out of two of her companions and not really sure what to add or ask she waits and looks to see what the next set of orders is.

Alice sighs and replies to Avi, "Fine, I'll talk to them. They're not going to bully me into doing anything I don't want to do." Gesturing at the others, she says, "Let's get this over with."

"Titan, they aren't called that because of Big Horn. It's because their's always seven of them." Jason said as he followed Alice. "Kristian, you got her while the rest of us go say hi and hopefully avoid another fight today?"
"You let Alice do the talking and that may actually happen." Kristian replied with a big smile.

The MPs met the team halfway, led by a sour looking colonel, "I hope you civilians can give me a very good reason why you are on this base interfering with a military matter." He barked at them.
Among the group following them was a surprised looking Lt. Gavin, who was trying to get the men to lower their rifles .

Still not sure what is going on and knowing that speaking is not going to be her strong suit she just goes and tries to make herself as not threatening as possible including lowering her shield.

Alice replies firmly yet politely, "We were preventing the theft of suits which, in the wrong hands, could have caused a lot of problems to this city. Now that we've accomplished our goal, we'll be on our way. Good day, sir."

Calvin floats silently nearby as Alice engages with the MPs, ready to jump in only if necessary. He does smirk a bit at their commander when he says 'interfering with a military matter', noting to himself that the military had been caught flat-footed and entirely unprepared to stop the theft.

"First hand experience." Jason replied grimly. "I know them better than I want to." He added before following Alice.
The colonel hesitated, then nodded, "Then we thank you for your assistance, Miss. You and your friends are free to go, as soon as you turn over the culprits you are holding , and agree to file statements as to what occured here today." He stated adamantly, folding his arms.
Cal, Tom and Sylwia notice the soldiers with the Colonel seem edgy, except the one for Lt. Gavin.

Tom followed Jason, trying to assess the situation a little better, but he knew better than to annoy Alice or Jason too much when there were other authority figures around. But he wasn't happy about it.

Alice replies in a polite but firm tone of voice. "While I'm happy to file a statement, I cannot turn over the suspect to you."

The moment Alice tells the MPs we are not turning over the culprits, Calvin's attention is riveted on the soldiers. The moment any of them raise their weapon, he is prepared to swoop down, grab them, and fly them directly upward at high speed.
Until that happens, however, he will remain calm, observant, and silent.

Following suit with what Calvin is doing Sylwia keeps her light form as to be prepared for anything. She debates raising her field but thinks for now to keep it down.

The officer snarled at Alice’s defiance of his authority, but hesitated. Seeing an opening, Lt. Gavin spoke up quickly,”Sir, if we let them handle this, it’s a lot less paperwork for us.”
“Point, Lieutenant. Miss, if you are so certain whatever facility you wish to send these folks to is more secure than ours, they are all yours. But, they will be tried by a military tribunal and not some bleeding heart civilian judge.” The Colonel replied, his posturing deflating.l as Gavin motioned for weapons to be put away.
