"We definitely don't want to go in there blind. I will call the department and see what intel they already have on the place." Long gets on his phone and calls the chief. "Yes, sir. Good morning, sir. Yes, it appears that I have become the de facto department liaison with the Sentinels. The reason for my call, sir, is that we're currently in the middle of an investigation to bring in that super that has been showboating for the press. The Jury. Yes, sir. We came across a building you currently have staked out. We would like to exchange information and we need to do right away lest we lose his trail." Long gives him the address of the building so he can look up the file.

"Not a secret base, but they do R&D there for the Navy and Marines, though most of it takes place out at the rest of the base in the Bahamas. What ever they are working on here, will be shipped out there for testing." Beth explained. "I can see if I can come up with what they are working on, but most of it will be classified." She said, lowering her head to the terminal again. "Sylwia, I'm not sure if our credentials would get you in there."
*****
It took a few minutes to connect, before Long's call was connected. " Officer Long Fu, I have been meaning to contact you son. I need you to come in to the office. There are a few things we need to discuss concerning your new assignment." There was a bit of a pause, though keystrokes could be heard in the background. "That location is under investigation for illegal activities connected to the Dark Eagles motorcycle club. More details will have to come from Detectives Jim O'Shea and Holly Mendez, they have lead on the case."

"Oh, so it's not a secret base, but what's tested there is secret. That's...not exactly better." Tom responded.

Looking at the editorial, Alice wonders out loud "I wonder if Mac could help get us access."

"Yes, sir. I will come in as soon as I can chief. Could you have dispatch connect me with one of the detectives you mentioned? Thank you for the information. It should bring a swift close to this case."

"I haven't really met this Mr. MacColter, but I'm betting he can get your SLJ credentials clearance in a case like this. May be not a look at whatever the Calvary are after, but at least a look around if you need it." Beth suggested in agreement with Alice. "I'll shoot him an email, so some one doesn't blurt out anything unhelpful that could be distracting while on the phone." She gave Tom a mock dirty look as she typed.
******
" The two of them are in the field right now. Not much chance to interact with them at the moment." There was another pause, "I would prefer you come in sooner than that. We need to talk."

Calvin waits as Long completes his phone call, but lingers near the window, watching for activity around the suspicious building.

"I understand. I will do whatever it be that I can help with the group." Sylwia says trying to offer help that she can. She realizes that it might be her criminal past that may cause issues as well.

"Yes, sir. I'll be in right away." To Calvin, "The department chief needs to see me right away about something. He sounded pretty urgent. Stay here and keep watch. Do not engage unless someone's life is in danger. I'll be back as soon as possible."

"Hey, I'm trying to educate him! Is it really my fault he hasn't read 'A People's History of the United States"? Really, it's shameful the state of education in our nation's security apparatus." Tom feigned a restless hurt.

Calvin nods at Long's orders. "Right on." He stations himself at the window of the shop, where he can keep an eye on the building, the undercover cop, and the street outside.

"Ok, thanks Beth. Let me know when you get a response." Alice says to Beth when Beth says she'll send MacCoulter an email.

As Long started to depart, there was a sudden flurry of action across the street as the doors opened. Three leather adorned figures drove their motorcycles out the clubhouse doors. The undercover cop started to rise, but there was nothing at the moment to do but watch.
"They come and go all hours." The skopkeep said, stepping up with Calvin to watch as three motorcycles emerged from the building. "Mostly they good guys. Drink too much and race bikes, but keep neighborhood save. But when guys from big club come, it gets rowdy." The shopkeeper explained as the door closed. "Executioners, they bad news. Never cause me harm." The Executioners were a national outlaw club known to be growing fast and now the third largest club in the states.
****** "Uh huh." Beth shook her head with a flirtatious smile at Tom before she starts typing. "So what got into Jason anyways?"
She hit send, and within seconds a reply popped up. "Does he live on his computer? He says yes, but he is contacting the commanding officer to give them a heads up you are going to visit on official business. And he recommends against arriving in street clothes."

Calvin nods, watching the motorcyclists carefully.
"The Executioners, huh? Can't say I've heard of them." Calvin watches through the window. Sounds like we have a turf war brewing. The locals and these executioners, whoever they are. And it's got the police worried enough to stage a stakeout.

Sylwia hearing what she does stops for a minute to think as she realizes that she does not really have any attire that would suit anything she could wear that is not classified as street clothes but waits to see how the others speak/react to the information given.
