"Use what better?" Vex was still confused. He looked at Jessa, " You can use the Force? Hey, partner, you been holdin' out on your wingman? Wow, that is so cool. Hey, when you become a Jedi, I can be your personal pilot and fly you where ever you need to go." He offered with a big smile.

Tian chuckled.
"And you have been holding out on yourself, young Vex," He said. "You move through the force, instinctively, as is your way. Our Jessa does so deliberately, as is her way. Neither way is wrong. But both together - both instinct and deliberation - makes for a better use of the Force. A better pilot. A better strategist. A better negotiator. Now, let's begin."
We walked towards the middle of the room. He sat down, legs crossed.
"Please, have a seat," he said with a wave in front of him.

Vex was about to continue when Tian spoke, causing Vex to do something very uncharacteristic.
He went silent.
He did not know what to say to the accusation that he knew anything about the Force. He started to reply, but couldn't. It was so preposterous. He was just a dumb fighter jock. Maybe more talented than most expected, but still just a pilot. With a long hesitation, he looked at his wingmate for some sign as he followed Tian and sat down.

Jessa raises an eyebrow and smirks. "Are you really that forgetful? It wasn't that long ago that I TOLD you I was force sensitive. Remember you were sleep walking?" Shaking her head, Jessa sits down and waits for Tian to continue.

“Very well,” Master Tian said. “Now, close your eyes. This exercise will help you to center yourselves. Once centered, becoming one with the Force will become possible.”
After a pause, he said. “To center yourselves, you must find that point that is neither emotion, nor logic. It is neither thought, nor thoughtlessness. Neither the future, nor the past. Find that point.”

"Jessa, I didn't think you were serious. I thought that was just a line to string me along, like Skywalker and his womp rat stories." He admitted, though her skill as a pilot made him accept it without question. He tried to understand what Tian wanted him to do, but when he was not sure, instead of asking he merely focused his thoughts as he did when he flying.

Jessa shakes her head at Vex and deadpans. "Sure, because I'm just known for my sense of humour." Rolling her eyes at Vex, Jessa then crosses her legs and sits up straight and closes her eyes so she can start meditating in order to center herself.

"Continue to focus," Master Tian said quietly, in stages, as the meditation continue. "Let the force flow through you."
After a few moments, he continued.
"At its most basic principles, a connection to the force is beyond morality. Beyond your intentions. It is just a connection. A symbiosis between you and the living Force." He explained, his tone remaining calm. "Look for that connection."
After another moment of silence, M-3TO shuffled in.
"Pardon my intrusion," it began. "We will be arriving at the Hyperspace destination in a few minutes, and Captain Alio requests you come to the bridge."

Vex snapped back to his senses with the droid's interruption, but the timing did not seem right. "The captain short hop us? It should have taken a few hours to get to our jump point." He asked, getting to his feet.

Jessa opens one eye when the droid comes into the room. Opening her other eye, Jessa stands up and starts to head to the bridge.

"It has?" Vex replied in surprise. "Felt like I just closed my eyes. Did I snore?" He looked at the droid curiously, "Why can't anyone know?"

Jessa heads to the bridge, figuring that keeping the captain waiting was the best way to keeping him from suspecting anything was going on.

"If what you say is true, then this ship would be an afront to what the Sith attempted to accomplish," M-3TO answered, ushering Vex along. Though, the pair were not able to get to the lift before Jessa. "You did not snore."
The second lift closed as Vex and M-3TO ascended to the bridge.
At the bridge already, Jessa's lift door opened.
"This ship's hyperdrive is phenomenal," Alio commented, looking at a chronometer. "Half the time of the Two Left Feet."
"Bad Dancer Ship ∉ Max(Correllia technology)", NAV-7 helpfully explained.
Alio raised an eyebrow.
