Alice looks at Gabe sympathetically and says, "We don't know for sure that she's gone for good. I admit, I'm not really that familiar with her powers, but let's make sure we understand what happened before mourning her." Alice keeps a close eye on Rags - sure, Jason seemed to think he didn't have much time left, but Alice didn't want to be caught off guard. Someone could get seriously hurt if she wasn't paying attention.

As they watched, Ragnarok suddenly convulsed, and his body detracted from a giant to an elderly man half his size and a blank stare up at the sky.
Avi shook his head, "I'm too weak to bring him back, unless you want me dropping into a coma."
Jason stepped back as the sirens were getting closer. "The rest of you get out of here. I'll deal with the police, I've done this a few more times than the rest of you."

Calvin stands slowly. He doesn't like watching anyone die, and today he's seen two... though he still can't believe Sylwia is truly gone. She was a creature of light, of energy.
He turns to Gabe, sorrow written across his face. "I... don't want to sow false hope. But... was she in energy form? 'Cause... energy can't be created or destroyed. Only transformed." He shrugs his shoulders.
Can she come back? Could anyone come back from that? I dunno. But Syl is... WAS... Is? tough. Maybe she can find a way.
As Jason orders them to clear the area, Calvin complies. He suddenly feels very tired, and very small, and wonders just how long it's been since he was in human form.

Alice shakes her head at Avi, "No, Avi. Save your strength. Tom is right. It's not worth sacrificing you to save him." Alice realizes that her voice sounds cold, but she had to be honest. When Jason says they should head out, Alice asks, "Do you want me to stay to help with the statement?"

Jason looked at Alice, "Trevor is feeling better. His stomach is doing the talking." He tapped his band-adio," Nine blocks over and you'll see them to the left down a couple blocks." He looked back at Alice," I can handle the cops , I'll just tell them I'm public relations so we keep the rest of you out of the spotlight, and Mac will make some calls soon as you talk to him to keep us from getting this pinned on us. Yeah, Sylwia was in energy form Cal, does that make a difference?"

Calvin hopes with all sincerity that his friend Sylwia is not gone forever.

Sylwia having finally come back together reforms fully beside the body that is or was the enemy she helped fell. Her face is covered in tears as she crouches down and checks to see if he has any vitals before slumping down. "I am so sorry. No one deserves to die and I was the instrument that did it. I will make sure you get a proper burial." She says holding his hand and wishing she could of done that while he died. "If it helps I will never do that again unless it is an emergency." During this time despite the fact she could see what was going but could not interact with it she does ignore the rest of the team and stays in her light form so the clothes she lost are not obviously apparent.

When Calvin sees Sylwia reform, he whispers "Oh, thank God." Calvin comes to her side. When she says she will never do that again, he smiles, tears forming in his eyes.
"We thought we'd lost you too. I've never been so glad to see you as I am now."

Tom nods. "I guess someone better help me find my chair. And I'll need a ride." He looks about to the rest of the group, afraid to relinquish his metal form until he's back in his chair.

"Tom, your chair was in the car when we got clobbered, right?" Jason said with a guilty tone. " Long will get it when he gets the others. Alice, how did you and Cal get here?"
At the sound of Sylwia's voice, Gabe jumped to his feet and ran to her while wiping his eyes, "You're okay? Cal, you were right!" He bypassed Calvin and embraced Syl," We thought you were lost."

Long runs to the nearest building and climbs up the drainpipe to the roof.
ByUUCmPv1d100 to climb if a roll is necessary.
Once up on the roof he looks into the distance to find an overturned dump truck or if there is any smoke rising from the wreck.
