"Greetings," it said again, looking at Jessa and Vex. "I am M-3T0, welcome to the Whisper."

Vex looked at Jessa, then back at the protocol droid. "Uh, hi. Looks like you've been here a while. If your life support is fully operational. Any chance we can bring some wounded on board to get our craft repaired?"

Jessa looks at the protocol droid with open suspicion. Jessa asks the droid, "Are you here alone? Where do you come from?"

"Goodness, I had not expected the new crew to be wounded," M-3TO said. "We have a fully stocked infirmary, though I expect some of the supplies have aged."
"I am not completely alone," The droid added. "Though we have been without a living crew for a while."
"Atmosphere quality = safe for humans," Zone beeped.

" I ain't like we let the Imps shoot us up for something to do." Vex replied as he pulled off his helmet. He picked up his comlink and called back to the ship," Captain, got a copy? Air's good. Protocol droid onboard says they have an infirmary if you want to start transferring the wounded."
He glanced over at his wing mate, then back to the droid. "I'm Vex and this is Jessa. Care to give us the tour?"

Jessa frowns at Vex's willingness to trust the unknown droid and asks "What do you mean you're not completely alone?"

The wounded crew started entering the receiving area, through the airlock. Alio was among them.
"The Whisper is currently maintained by a droid crew," M-3TO answered. "I expect they will be happy for a break."
He paused, doing a headcount.
"Please, come with me into the ship," the droid said. "We will bring your wounded to our infirmary. I am afraid a tour will have to wait until this is completed."
The door from the receiving area opened into a clean, well-lit hallway. A pair of astromechs went in, and zipped by, into Alio's ship.
"Hey!" Alio said, turning.
"Worry <= now," Late said, turning and following into the Two Left Feet. "Bad Dancer Ship repaired iff in hold."
Alio looked at Vex. "That droid had better have said those other ones will leave my ship alone."

"Late says they are going to fix yours after they move it to the hold." Vex replied, turning to the captain. " Late will stay with them and let Zone know if there is any trouble. He might be a little slow, but he's a feisty little twerp Captain, Late will keep them on the straight and narrow."

Jessa is still wary, but follow the others. 'This had better not be a trap.' she thinks to herself.

As the last of the rebels left the Two Left Feet, the airlock closed, and everyone present heard the freighter disengage from the larger ship. Alio sighed.
The halls of the ship were eerily quiet. Not so much that they were empty, but that they seemed to hardly have been used in the first place.
"Along these halls you will find the crew quarters," M-3TO was saying, in a most non-trappish fashion. "More than enough for your current crew. Also, you sir, are you the Captain?"
"Huh?" Alio said, absently. He was looking at a doorway. "Yeah."
"Then, you will be needed on the bridge, once the medical emergency is settled," the protocol droid said. It sounded like argument would be counter-productive. "As well as your bridge crew."
Alio looked at the four former speeder pilots. "Sure. Crew."

"Crew?" Vex looked over at Jessa as his voice went a bit whiney, " Aww stang, what did I do to get transferred to Fleet?" He smirked, then looked at the protocol droid, "I don't suppose this ship have any docked fighter escorts?"

Update! The deck where the players are. They are travelling the length of the ship, keeping to the central corridors. Anyone who would poke their heads in would discover the dorm rooms. Medical area is in the rear, there, right after the twin lifts.

GM-Double Post to move things along:
"Escort fighters?" M-3TO asked. "No, the ship was never equipped with those."
As the rest of the injured get settled, the ship's medical droids spring to action and begin to help in their care.
"Alright," M-3TO said. "We should move to the bridge and depart this system."

"Great, that vents my usefulness on board straight out the exhaust port." Vex shrugged as he tagged along with the group. He looked around as they walked through the ship.

"I am certain we can find a suitable placement for you, sir." M-3TO said to Vex as the lift doors closed.
A moment later, to sweeping but urgent music, the doors opened.
Behind them.
"This way please," M-3TO beckoned, walking onto the bridge.
Around a barrier, the crew could see out the massive viewport into the asteroid belt that hid the ship. In the distance they could see a Star Destroyer angled generally toward them.
Lights began to flicker on, and the crew could see droids manning some of the stations. At the same time, they could feel, almost sense, the engines coming to full power.
One of them beeped urgently. Something about being spotted while looking for a thousand-year-old bird. It sounded confused by the prospect.
"Oh dear, it seems we have drawn some attention," M-3TO explained. "We shall have to leave at once."
There were two pilot/navigation stations, as well as sensors, central weapons controls, engineer, and other ship-systems.
Immediately, the two co-pilots took sensors and weapons, leaving Vex, Jessa and Alio standing.
"Whelp, I'm the captain," Alio said, walking next to the command chair. He hesitated, almost with a shudder. "Get us out of here."
