The Labyrinth

Tiger must have noticed the exchange, but she doesn't even turn her head. She just continues moving up the street. Her eyes are focused on what is in front of them.

After the street of vendors is a demolished building, with none of the rumble cleared. At this point the map starts to twist and turn, taking a maze of alleyways, back streets, corridors, and even skyways.

The entire section is covered with grafitti of the walls, streets and floors, most of it red in color. In one of the alleys, the team can hear the distant rev of motorcycle engines and it isn't very long before a couple dozen cyclists come screaming down the alley, with guy on a hovercycle in the lead. All of the riders are wearing red.

There is no real cover to speak of in the alley - this section seems surprisingly free of debris. Tiger steps to the side of the alley, as if to let the riders pass.

*it isn't until the alleyway and the approaching sound of motorcycles that she turns her head to address Khris 'wasn't planning on getting involved. had to focus on their faces in case we run into them later. sorry. i can remember places or even entire conversations. had to do something while i was in the hospital'

*then her attention is diverted again as the first of the cycles roar into view, and she steps to the side to stay out of he way

Khris tried to ignore the bikes. " Oh right, photographic memory. Handy trick. " As the cycles approached, he looked more at the rides than the riders. With a sigh and a smirk, he looked at Tiger, " Are we there yet?"

*she keeps her eyes forward and down, watching a spot about 10 feet in front of her. by keeping a low profile, she's ensuring that she won't bring the wrath of the bikers down on them, among other things.

...o0( man i wouldn't mind getting a look at one of those engines ... oh well ) *she thinks to herself as she moves her head slightly from one bike that got a bit close

Miranda quietly moves out of the way of the bikers, as she continues to look around for any signs of trouble.

Unfortunately, the gang on the motorcycles have other ideas than just passing by. Two of them draw guns.

By the time they have leveled them while riding, a challenging feat, Tiger steps into the path of the oncoming bikes. She draws two revolvers and almost casually shots the two would be shooters right through the neck before they even pull the trigger. The two bikes wobble and fall, causing five more bikes to crash.

"Lets go to work," Tiger says with a sigh.

Glad he had kept his revolvers out, Khris drew the pair of Pythons , taking a split second to turn on the laser targeting and took aim at the bikers while stepping in front of Jeckle," Bosskitty, have you lost your bloody mind? These are poor odds even for us! Ice lady, we could do with a touch of cover."

Smirking a bit at Shroud calling her 'Ice Lady', Miranda simply nods and prepares to raise an ice wall between them and the bikers in order to protect them if the bikers try to shoot at them. (sdc 60, 10x8 feet)

*Jeckle reacts strangely at first as Shroud steps in front of her. he hears a simple ' oh **** .. ' *then she spins and squats behind him and gets her pistols out and loads them. counting she gets ready to hold up her weapons so he can take them. something she's practiced before, but with who? .. is uncertain.

Immediately after his party opens fire Dante calls forth an invisible wall 6 feet high across the whole street (ISP = 30 SDC=120).

"That won't stop them for long, but it will slow them down," he says hoping to have some of the bikes slam into the invisible wall before its collapses.

He realizes he is a bit late as the riders turn tale and run. "Sorry I didn't react sooner. I should have picked up their intentions. Is everyone ok?" He asks as he waves his hand discharging his wall.

The ice wall and the psychic wall stop several incoming rounds. Tiger jumps up and over both walls, firing as she leaps. The bikers have difficulty riding and shooting, but Tiger has no problem firing mid-leap.

It isn't clear if they are deterred more by the wall of ice or everyone's deadly accurate shooting, but the bikes all turn and accelerate back the way they came leaving a few dead, a few injured or limping and half a dozen motorcycles.

The bikes are all Harley more than six years old, most heavily modified, refurbished and repaired. A few 1911 model auto pistols litter the scene as well as some pump shotguns.

Dante walks over to some of the weapons. "I normally don't use things things, but in the labrynth it might be a good idea to carry something."

He picks up 2 pistols and drops one in his right pocket, and one in the left. He picks up a pump action shotgun, turning to the others, he says with a grin
, "Anyone wanna show me how to shoot this thing?"

*turning her head slightly, she grins as she stands up and the loaded pistols seem to vanish and then checks to ensure that its safe. pulling out her 'proxcimity device' she disreguards the group signatures. she will report the findings of it and then look up to see what else is happening, then moves to tell Dante how to work the shotgun

'not my personal choice, but its fairly simple. shells go here, triggers here and this ejects the spent shell and moves hte next shell up. other than that? .. i have no clue how accurate it is. i use a rifle myself' *she picks up the various weapons and gives them a quick look over to tell the reliability of said weapons - recognize weapon quality. [35/51 - pass]

*she lets the others decide what to do about the bikes and who will ride with whom as she does this. she also hopes that someone will recall that she can't pilot one of these things at all

Tiger picks up a large grey Harley with orange and yellow flame patterns all over it and examines it for damage. She asks, "Can any of you besides Shroud ride?"
