Vivian and Lex can both see that there is no light coming from the camp - that is probably not a good sign given how dark it is getting.
The giant head starts to dissipate, but not before it continues in Latin. "Too late for us....warn the Powell. He will know what to do... Goodbye...of Earth."
(GM note, though speaking in Latin, Lex and Vivian can also make out the mention of "Powell")

Vivian is a bit wary when she sees that there is no light coming from the camp. "That seems like a bad sign." Vivan says to Lex and the others. Turning back, Vivian frowns as the giant head starts to dissipate and asks Rex, "Wait? What was that about Powell?"

"Bloody hell if I know." The Duchess shakes her head. "All I know is we've got one hell of a discovery."
"You don't mind my saying." Matt finally spoke up. "I don't mean to get you riled - but you ain't gonna report much back if the campsites gone and in trouble now?"
The Duchess frowns at Matt. "you are correct sir." She says icily. "It would be prudent to investigate."
Matt smiles and tips his hat. "I'm up for a scouting, if anyone would care to join." He offers and arm out to Vivian.

Lex shook his head. "You kids behave and stay out of trouble. Rex and I will keep an eye on the Duchess unless you need back up," he grinned slightly, "or a chaperone." He had no real concerns with either, but Vivian had been at his side long enough now that it felt odd when she was not there.

Vivian uses a lot of restraint to keep from scowling at Lex as she simply says, "If there is trouble at the camp, shouldn't we all go down and take care of it? We don't know what is going on or how many adversaries there are and there may be more than 2 people can handle."
