"Hugs? I have hugs now?" Tom looks to Beth. "Is that a thing we're doing now? I think I should be asking for a raise if I'm depleting my hug supply." Tom grins. "Beth's on to something, I'm just the messenger on wheels." he spins about in his wheelchair.

"I do not know to be sure, and I am sorry thought to bring this up. I have to discover this and out of respect for you had to tell you and let you know all the data. We are still in discovery phase but had to fill in the gap of the possibility of her still being alive. I do apologize though for upsetting you." She says not really paying attention to what she is saying and possibly babbling a bit knowing she is on a touchy subject and she really is not the best to do so and partially is regretting it but by same token feeling right in doing so.

There is a look of dread frozen on Long's face until the subject changes to what Beth has found. He exhales with relief after unconsciously holding it for fear he might be assaulted with a hug.

Alice returns the embrace with a smile and nods at Jason. "Yeah, everyone is getting patched up." When she hears that Beth has found a lead, Alice turns to her and lets her explain what she'd found.

"Homicide is going to Gramacy, if we're lucky." Sara said to start. "Unlike the people you work for, we don't just kill people because we can and trust me, I would very much like to see him put down."
Maybe one day, Sara thought to herself.
"What I want to know is why you and him are running around with a anti-meta human group. Some one promise you a cure for your abilities?

"Don't worry Tom, I'm the only one that wants hugs from you." Beth smirked as she stepped away from her control station and stood behind Tom, draping her arms around him. " We have enough to at least suspect it was the mayor's helicopter involved. But we need proof. The pilot would be nice." Her cellphone chirps, but she ignored it.
Jason, after releasing Alice, looked at the others and smirked, " I bet the heliport has photo surveillance we can use to tell who has access to that chopper. Beth?" He looked over at the computer whiz, but she shook her head.
"It must be a local system, "Beth said with a shake of her head, " I can't hack it."
"Damn. Wait, Long? Can we get a look at those tapes without a warrant?" Jason asked, and then looked sheepish, " Sorry, not my place." He glanced at Alice and went quiet.
Across the room, Deci could here the meeting going on, but Randy had her attention. " December, if she is still alive, you have to find her. Please. Wait, it would make sense. There's a guy in the Brethren, a newer guy I never really met, but hes a psychic that can manipulate fire. paul asked why he wasn't going and Rusty said he got another job. He wouldn't know Allison wasn't Alice. Deci, what if..." his voice choked up and he took a moment, " Deci, you gotta find him."

Rusty looked at Sara as if she had slapped her across the face, "You had better choose your words real careful when you explain what you mean by that." The Brethren membergot to her feet and stepped to the bars, glaring at Sara. " I've done a lot of things, but turning on my own kind is not one of them."

"It depends on how you want to do it. If you want to go through regular channels then yes we would need to get a warrant. But since this team is sponsored by the federal government we could claim national security and pretty much take what we want."

Deci feeling supremely responsible turns to him, "I will find out for you one way or the other as this is my solemn swear." She says in a low voice. "Even if it is the worst news I will find your answer and Randy I am so sorry if this turns into false hope...." She trails off hoping this call will be over seeing how he is reacting and realizing she might be doing as much damage as good.

Sara bounces the bullet in the palm of her hand thinking. She got the proper response from Rusty concerning her accusation. Now it was time to learn what truth Rusty could tell her.
"Your buddy Homicide went after a bunch of human supremacist that use bullets like this." She shows Rusty the ruined bullet. "The supremacist would use bullets like these to track powers down in order to kill them. Today, in relation to our investigation at the hospital, someone put this bullet into my friend here in order to track him here. Funny it should be the same kind of bullet. Also funny, I think someone has been using the hospital to kidnap powers that were brought into the morgue. I have a hard time believing this is all coincidence.
"So you didn't turn on your kind, but what about your bosses? You don't hire someone like Homicide because he all into the powers movement. He keeps secrets and keeps people quiet, mostly permanently; he dosen't care who he has to kill in order to achieve it."

" I don't know anything about supremacists or tracking bullets, and no since Deth went to Eage's Ridge, Denial hasn't been around much. Most of his directions come by phone and he gives us a lot more leeway to get stuff done. " Rusty said, leaning into the bars. She added, " As for kidnapping the dead, ask your own house doctor if it's even possible."

"Only problem with a warrant is the mayor could find out about " Jason pointed out.
Beth cleared her throat," I guess I could draw something similar to a warrant and we get Mac to authorize it."
" It's okay Deci, I just wasn't expecting news like this." Randy replied. There was an awkward pause, and then he blushed a bit," It's, ah, really good to see you again, Deci. Maybe some day we can actually get together again.:" He smiled.

"Maybe it will be possible and would be nice to go out with someone and get away from the base. But I will find out either way for you one way or another." She says with a smile as she waves goodbye and turns off the conversation.
She then moves back to see what the others are doing.

"I'm asking you." Sara said to Rusty. "You and and Homo-cide showed up to cover for what was going on in that hospital. The main examiner is out of our reach for the moment and you guys were going to suppress who had been taken. I'm pretty sure more powers have gone through that morgue that you might like think about it. People who didn't have anything to do with us and our little game of cops and robbers. Right now they could be just doing illegal research on the bodies of people with powers.
"Or they could be taken them alive and shoving them in ovens; people are sick like that." Sara folds her arms across her chest looking into the cell. "You know I do hope I'm wrong and I"m just being overly paranoid. There is alot I don't know right now but I do know a black op when I see one, or at least, someone knows how to run one. How you going to feel if comes out that you betrayed your own kind because you were getting played by some really nasty people?"

Alice shakes her head at Jason and says, "Don't worry about it. I'd rather people give their ideas in case it's something I'm not aware of." Alice nods at Beth's idea and says, "That's a good one. I agree that we need to do this as discreetly as possible. The last thing we need is for the Mayor to be aware of our investigation."
