The time passes slowly for the rest of the team as they wait for Shroud to make a kill. Even though barely an hour has passed since Shroud left, it seems like far longer when you are sitting in a car or an alley waiting for something to happen. After about twenty more minutes, Tiger returns from her post. She had been watching the area from high up on a balcony, several stories above the alleyway. She finds Wind Chill wide awake. "Why don't you take the next watch, since you aren't sleepy?" Tiger asks. [Tag: Wind Chill, any] Miranda nods at Tiger and replies "Sure, no problem." She then heads to the watch point and keeps an eye out for any sign of danger. (tag) |

After a quick scan to make sure it was only one shooter, Khris ducked back over the edge to the roof and pulled out his phone. He sent a text message to Tiger...
You owe me that 'Bonus'. Job's done, sorry I took so long, but Patriot's armor chafes
He put the phone away and started to scan the other rooftops, looking for his victim's teammates.

Tiger had just sat down in the alley and shut her eyes when her phone vibrated. She took it out and looked at Shroud's message. Immediately, she got up and waved to Wind Chill for her to come down. She went around waking Patriot, Jeckle, and Dante.
"Take anything of value from the car, it might be stolen by the time we get back. We cross in five minutes." Tiger points to Patriot, "Patriot and me will go high, over a hundred feet up. The rest of you will cross at ground level. Stick together. Shroud, Patriot and I will provide cover fire while you enter the Labyrinth. Don't worry about covering for us, just get inside. Once you enter, stick to the map and we will catch up with you. Avoid communications of any kind, there could be considerable surveillance on the edges. Any questions?"

*Jeckle wakes up and her eyes watch the others before she moves to take the leggings of hers and then starts to strap them on. she makes sure to take another juice and a piece of fruit with her, while adjusting the long coat about her to cover the metal and other gear and straps might show.
' .. hope that they hit me anyplace other than my head .. ' *she gives a faint grin to show that it was a joke. she later slides her hands into the gloves and exercises the fingers a couple of times and then looks to Dante and Windchill. 'well .. one of you should take point. i'm only used to working in my truck, so i'm not good for the leading thing'

Dante gets out of the car and stretches. "Nice little cat nap never hurts,"
He listens to Tigers instructions and smiles, he reaches out and thinks at her ,'even this kind of communication?'
He then re- checks the collapsible nightsticks in his boots. He grabs his trench coat from the trunk of the car and puts it on.
He withdraws a deck of cards from his coat pocket and begins to shuffle it over and over. He leans against the car and says, "I'm ready to go when you all are."

*Jeckle says little now, she just hopes that one of the others will take the lead point now, as her experience is making stuff and not actually being in the field doing the things her brother would be doing. she rolls the neck to fight off the minor cramp that sits there and then fights one final yawn as her mind figures the driving time to that of a pedestrian.
' ... right then. who's leading?' *Jeckle smiles as she looks at her two team-mates that will be on the ground with her.

"Dante can lead. He is the most familiar with the city and may be able to defend against the sniper attacks." Tiger responds to Jeckle's question. Tiger's tone doesn't sound commanding, as if she would'nt mind if Wind Chill or Jeckle lead.
Having made her suggestion. Tiger cleans out the trunk of the Caddy quickly, and leaps up the walls of the alleyway. She jumps up first to one side, and then back to the other, always moving up until she is several stories up, then she leaps up and out into the street and jumps back and forth from one side of the street to the other moving towards the Labyrinth in zig zagging jumps at a height of nearly six stories.
Patriot uses his swing line in a different style to similar effect, following Tiger at a height of about five stories. Tiger and Patriot pause for only a moment to wait for the other three to make their way to the street across from the Labyrinth and then Tiger jumps the distance, landing on a building on the Labyrinth side. Patriot follows her across and they both pause on the opposite side, guns drawn, waiting for the rest of the team to cross the street.
