DD had heard the voice before. He was familiar with the Savage Land having even been there once before (apparently in an old issue he was taken there and met Ka zar, so says Google)
"It is no where that would be confused for a vacation spot," DD answers, "well maybe at first, but only for like 5 minutes."
He walks around, "so I guess this is where we are going?"

Atlas looks at She-Hulk, then at Spider-Man. "Lemme guess - Chemistry Club? Sci-Fi or Chess or something like that, right?"
"Not that there's anything wrong with that." Foster was still speaking over the PA system. "I was my high school's chemistry club president."
"You boys will have to forgive Atlas if he's a bit insensitive, back then he would have been the one giving you guys the swirlies." Songbird stepped into the training area.
"I'd have snapped in half." Foster replied. If you looked into the control window, you could see his smile.
Atlas shot back, equally amused. "Anytime you want to size up again, Foster. You and I never had a mix-up back when you were Giant-Man."
"Those days are done for me."
"Are they? Keep telling yourself that."
Quicksilver rolled his eyes. "Such terrible discipline; the Captain would be -"
"-we've looked over the archive footage, Quicksilver." Songbird finished. "Alright, pack it in team. Cap and Hawkeye are out and I've been given Deputy Chair position." She bites her lower lip. "We should see where we are and what items are on our agenda today."

Kitty looks to Logan quickly as she takes in the message, a slight frown touching her lips. "Break or not, this just doesn't feel right." she murmurs quietly to herself. "I'm going to take a look around.. surely someone has to be here." she adds in, before looking to her fellow X-Man. "I'll leave you to contact Sc-Cyclops, Logan.. I know how well you two get along." the young mutant adds, stifling a laugh.
(OOC: Everyone, I apologize for my lengthy absents in posting. Lifes thrown me several curveballs that I'm trying to deal with)

Tally's moment of excitement for shopping and spending some time with quicksilver is dashed even though nothing has really been put forward feels what might of been suggested probably will not come to pass. At least not right away. Still her friend Melissa being in charge might make it a bit better.

"...keep it up Kitty and I'll switch your unstable molecule uniform for a normal one," counters Logan, taking a deep breath, sigh, uses his Avengers Card to hail the Avengers. "Going to need some help on a problem at the Mansion," he says into the card, leaving a message if no one responds.

The computers are sending you the exact co-ordinates in the Savage Land where the Blackbird went down.

Songbird is about to respond to She-Hulk's question when she answers Wolverine's communicard. "Songbird here, what's your status?"
Quicksilver leans over to Tally. "Do not worry young one, we will get you shopping. At worst, I will conscript the She-Hulk." He smiles easily.

"Understood Wolverine. We'll have the Quinjet ready to scramble by the time you get back." Songbird answered. She looked up to the control room and Foster nodded. "I'll get our flight plan cleared."
Songbird looked to the others. "Alright people, we're heading to the Savage Land. Atlas?"
"I'm in, Mel, you know that." He gave a thumbs up.
"Of course, having an experienced veteran of the Avengers will be of assistance to you in your first leadership role and I am of course, more than happy to donate the time." Quicksilver was standing right next to her.
"...yes, thank you." Songbird answered. "Alright, get your gear together and get to the hangar."
(OOC: If it's alright I'll just move the plot along?)

Tabitha looked at Daredevil walking around the room, thenwrapped her arms around her shoulders as it occurred to her that since Kitty was with the group, then Colossus had most likely been on the Blackbird. She kept her concerns to herself and merely turned her attention to Wolverine and asked in a soft voice veiled in her concern," When do we leave?"

"I guess I am as ready as can be." Tally says offering a smile and not needing any preperation to head out to wherever this savage land is. "I hope it will be interesting and maybe learn something from going."

"And do you have any spare uniforms here my size?" Blink asked logan,"I brought the crystal knives and javelins in case of trouble." she adds, "Logan, How do you make so many enemies and have so many dislike you?" With a quick thought she was considering gear load out.
Flash bangs,Survival kit...some string and bow string and other items like arrow heads, two knives and some water disinfecting pills (or something like that).

Tabitha looked at Blink and chuckled. "You want to wear one of his uniforms? No offence, but I hope you have better fashion sense than that. Though probably better than anything that Wasp would dream up for either of us, but you don't think you could pull off the Wolverine mask is all. We'd be better off raiding Miss Grey or Rogue's closets." She then looked around for ShadowCat and asked," Umm, I don't suppose you have any work clothes that are a little bit too big that I could borrow?"

Logan snorts, "Keep in touch Kitty as you do. As for spare uniforms, yeah, blue and golds." Takes a bit of time, but comes back with two of the old blue and gold uniforms. "Try these, should be your size. As for enemies, our line of work, you're going to cross someone, sometime. Best you can do is be better than they are." (GM Note: The uniforms would look like the blue and gold ones in the picture below)  |
