Tom takes down notes. "Huh. Interesting. How does that compare to other regions in the state?" Tom thinks for a minute. "And are the records electronic? Could we see them?"

Long starts going through the stack more earnestly looking for Allison's file. If he finds it he will hand it over to Trevor. In a low tone, "Are you ok to look at this? We need to find out if there is anything in this file that does not fit or something that catches your eye. And you know more about Allison than anybody."

Sara gets antsy and starts walking around the room, looking it over. Not the first time she has been in a morgue before, looking for clues on dead terrorists. This is different as they were looking for a friend, and by the way Trevor was acting, someone a lot closer. Of course back in her day they would stuff bodies under different names to get them out without detection. Not a lot of people were keen on opening body bags to see who was inside less they find one that did not come with all their pieces intact.
Sara makes a sour face and finds she is glad she's no longer a spy.
She looks around for things out of place, little places to hide switches you wouldn't normally find in a hospital, little areas to hide nefarious workings. Ever so often she would keep an eye on the cellpone guy, making sure he didn't get into trouble while they were talking to the good Doctor.

Sara's pacing seemed to uncover nothing except for making the doctor nervous as she watched. The entire situation did indeed remind her of days gone by, particularly one incident (see pm). She also noticed cellphone guy was now in the middle of the corridor, just standing there on his phone.
Dr. Guest shrugged and pointed Tom towards a wall station mounted computer. He could reach it from his chair, but it was high enough to make it awkward to use. "Some of the records are, but not all of them have not been entered yet. The med student that came down in the elevator with us was working on that for me."
long couldn't find a file with Allison's name on it, but he did find a Jane Doe dated the same day he had met Trevor. Trevor swallowed hard, then nodded and took the file. He opened it tenatively, then closed it quickly. "This is a mistake." He closed the file in disgust. "Thats definitely a guy. The file says female, but there's no mistaking that is a guy."

"OK...sounds like we have an issue then. What do you say, Doctor?" Tom asks.

"Thats not..." Dr.Guest took the file and opened it long enough to close it, "okay, so definitely male. I don't understand though. It could be an innocent mistake."

"You should probably double check and find out what's going on." Tom responds. "Seems your house isn't in order."

"Maybe we can shed some more light on this if we could get your assistant to join the conversation." Long goes looking for the intern to get him to join the rest.

"Looks someone down here has been falsifying the records and using other dead bodies in order to slip people out of here." Sara finally says. "In that I mean, they've been exchanging corpses for the living in order to slip them under people's notice.
"Unfortunately, no one does that for good reasons." Sara says. "I think the other doctor was probably responsible for that, and I'm pretty sure she had help."
Sara says the last line, half looking towards the other man not join in the conversation, but adding, "Its speculation of course. No one that smart works an operation like that in Miami."

Dr. Guest looked stunned, " That is crazy. Why would anyone ever do that?" She picked the phone and keyed the intercomm. " Would Stuart Evans please come to the Mortuary."
Sara happened to glance out the door's window, and she could see Stuart nearly drop his phone as he looked right at her, before spinning on his heels and heading the other way in a hurry.

Tom taps the armrest of his wheelchair. "Can you tell us anything about this Stuart Evans?"

"yeah, I'll be right back." Sara says, moving towards the door. "Stuart is doing something intensely stupid."
Guess his desire to rabbit come from long repress authority issues, or his bookie called and told him that the mob was looking for him. More than likely the sudden request he appear in the morgue to answer a few questions is inspiring his fight or flight response. Sara enhanced body kicks in as she gets out of the office, keeping a respectable speed for a hospital, but far faster than Stuart was going to outpace in a dead run.
"You, hold it right there!"

As Long is about to run after Sara, "Tom, could you look after the good doctor while Stuart is taken care of?" Long does his best to keep up with Sara while at the same time keeping a look out for Stuart in case he might be hiding. (Not sure if that would even be necessary. Just throwing it out there.)

With Long following, Sara's shout caused Stuart to turn to look back, and as he did he crashed into and knocked over an orderlies cleaning cart. As he scrambled to try to get up, the annoyed orderly kicked his feet out from under him and easily allowed Sara and then Long to catch up.
Dr. Guest shrugged, then replied, "Typical intern for the most part. Thinks he knows everything and makes a lot of mistakes. Generally nosey and annoying. Why do you ask?",

"Where is he interning from? Did he have good references?" Tom asks.
