(Perception roll held over)
"Hooah!"
J.R. smiled at Bernie's motivation speech. It was nice to see someone had an idea how to play the game even if he preferred to do things quiet.
"Stay sharp everyone, keep your buddy covered, and call out contact if you see ANY thing mobile. If you know what it is, call that out too. Look everywhere that even a dog could fit and don't be afraid to step back on contact. Just do it slow and face the Tango the whole time. If your buddy is engaging, cover him, not his target. If you drop a Tango, call it out and make it certain immediately. If you're having trouble call out Hard Target, so everyone knows you need help. Any questions?"
Falling back to the rear, he looks over at Bobbie. "I'll watch the area, you watch their sixes and we both keep each other breathing. Good?"

Anna nods at Bernie, "Got your back." She listens quietly to the NewGuy and smirks. He didn't seem completely incompetent, not that Anna trusted him much. He hadn't proven himself to Anna yet.

Bryan hears Bernies speech and continues to listen as JR. Tells them how to play army.Great he thought to himself the dead walk the earth theres no more goverment and the countrys all but fallen and i get drafted.JR seemed normal enough so far but who knows how long hes been riding around in that humvee alone. And Bernie seemed pretty sane for a doctor walking around with a meat cleaver and Anna well she hadnt said more then two words in his presence since they all met up. Bryan didnt join the military before the wave and didnt have any intention of it now.Hed seen how his friends who signed up came back changed some for the better and others not so much.

As the group forms up and starts back to the house with a scuffed up Bobbie trailing behind, it should be noted that Patty and Rob went ahead. On your way back to the house, one then two pistol shots ring out. The pair are waiting under the car port again, the two thin zombies they downed before are now sporting a single gun shot to the head.
“These two won't be chasing after again. You guys ready to take a look see inside.” She cants her head towards the darkened house.

Mac approaches the house, readying the gun after the gun shots. A deadly reminder that other zombies could be lurking inside. It was crazy really, once upon a time houses use to be a sanctuary of safety, but now, they are death traps depending on what was inside waiting for you. It is always a risk every time someone goes inside looking for the basic essentials to survive this new world.
Hopefully this time they earn a little respite from danger of ever present rotting stiffs and could find something useful inside. He kept his Saiga ready for action just case something objected to their continued entrance.

Perception [dice=20]
"Way to keep 'em down, Robbo and Patty." Bernie surveyed the three corpses, before searching the bodies for anything usable. He hoped for a handgun, or a few rounds of 9 mm or 12 gauge ammo. Once the corpses had been frisked, he returned to the house and to Mac.
"Alright, we're going to sweep and clear this house first. Robbo, you're the entryman at this point. No point using hand weapons now, so let's go in heavy. Rob, check the corners first. Anything walking or crawling, take it down. Patty, you're next. Take out whatever is in front of the door, if anything. The rest of us will follow, looking under tables, and other furniture and in closets. Rob, if you do not see any targets, cover an access point into the room. Patty, you do the same. We'll use this formation and go room-to-room until the house is clear. Don't worry about securing valuables until the room is clear. Remember, cover your buddies above all. Be quiet and listen. If you hear anything that isn't us, call it out in a conversational tone as contact, and to what direction. Bobbie, you cover the front door. You see anything outside, call, 'contact outside.' We'll handle it.
"Alright, stay smart. Stay together, and let's get in and out. If you see anything of value, remember it, once the house is clear, and we'll go back for it. Drugs and medical supplies, weapons, tools are priorities, but anything could be useful. Ready? Let's go."[rand=283577750760516548570513521944636624350265528001321742617077248294]

Anna has her rifle slung over her shoulder and waits for when it's time to go. "Let's get this done." is the only thing she says.

Readying his M-4 and turning on the flashlight attachment, J.R. brings up the rear. Watching everyone's six, he keeps a good eye out for not only the team, but any movement or sound.[rand=49957520794123414912760879378766204988535726442935080927549861372]

Patty looks at the darkened doorway, biting her her pale upper lip, the turns back to Bernie and says, “Hell no. Me, Rob and Bryan just scouted the outside of this place and got attacked, while you were waiting over by the cars You want to sweep and clear inside there? Then you, our new soldier boy and Big Mac,with his fancy shotgun, can lead the way. We'll follow you this time.”
From her look, she's got her mind made up. You're surroundings are bright and clear, the broken door hangs open, the interior of the house disappearing into shadows.
GM Notes: From you zombie search you find the following on the thin zombies: One vial of clear liquid, Machete and wallet with two credit cards, six family photos, and $67. Undead fatty didn't have anything but a pair of tattered blue sweat pants.

1-20 Perception.
"That's fair enough, Patty. I don't ever want to be called a coward." Bernie took a few breaths and shot Bobbie a glance. "If they're in there, we'll deal with them. The music didn't bring it out. And something was smart enough not to crash the window when it saw us. Something is a little smarter than your average groaner, and I think we might have a problem. This could be a state trooper zombie with a gun. It could look just like the cops...
"Whatever is in there is dead. If it's not one of us, it gets shot. Don't ask questions. Do not reason. It's dead. Shoot for the head."
Bernie moved forward, past Patty and Robbo. He entered the derelict house, shotgun ready. "Anna? J.R.? You're on my six. Be tactical..." And at that, Bernie entered, looking to the corners, but ready to call out contact straight ahead, and looking under furniture, behind curtains and in closets that creaked a little too much.

(All rolls withheld until later)
Double checking his taclight to make certain it's on, J.R. enters behind Bernie. Making a fast sweep with the light and rifle and then a slow sweep back. He stays three to four feet behind Bernie and motions to him to keep to the wall with the least amount of doors and/or furniture (basically the one with less hiding spots). J.R. motions for Anna and Big Mac to follow in behind him. All the while keeping his finger just a bit off the trigger, so as not to have an accidental discharge if something hits him. He continues slowly sweeping the light and M-4 back and forth, trying to cover every area possible.

Joe went in when signaled to do so. He kept an eye on every shadow in the house, the heat slightly abated as he left the sight of the glaring Arizona sun. He drops the shotgun on its sling, and draws his .357 revolver. A show of expereince from his time in the Army when he had to do his part in checking houses for enemy insurgents. Just because he was a military trucker did not mean he was excused from the dangerous work. Besides, a semiautomatic shotgun in the rear was asking for trouble in case trouble started in the front of their group.

GM POST
Stepping through the broken door, you find yourselves inside the kitchen. The interior of the house is unbearably hot and it is not helped by the lingering stench of dead that had been living inside. This room is brightly lit from the sunlight pouring through the door, but you see extends so far and you see the rest of the interior is a shadowy twilight.
Moving as element, you quickly sweep through the rest of the rooms of the gloomy house, finding the building on relatively intact. This was a four bed room family home by the look of it. Some of the pictures and relics of the previous living occupants still hang from the walls and littered the shelves, along with a decent amount of supplies that you can make use of.
As you complete your search, you find one oddity in the home's den. At the computer desk, you find a functioning CB radio set up. A glowing green light shows that it us powered up and working. Along the wall beside the desk are several batteries connected to the CB, all of them crudely hooked together by a copper wire and trailing to a rotary crank. Examining the crank you find evidence of dead skin on the handles, possibly from where one of the zombies you killed earlier.
