Bernie looked at the shotgun, grabbed it,turned his back, and ejected all the shells. He safed the weapon, and turned his glance back to Bobbie. He passed the weapon to the man. "Load it up, unload it, safe it and prepare this weapon for inspection, and you may well get it."
Bernie pulled out "Ole Blue," a genuine Red Ryder, range model carbine action BB gun, and cocked it. Then he took a plink at the door."
If nothing rushed out, Bernie said, "Alright, seems clear. We sweep it by the numbers."
If something came out, Bernie said, "House it!"

After Bernie shoots at the door with the bb gun, (and barring anything charging out) J.R. shows him one of his "distraction grenades". He then finds a decent size window on the side of the house, hits play, and tosses it at the wall below the window. After a moment the little speaker pipes up pretty decently for such a small one.
After the song starts and J.R. realizes what song is playing he starts to giggle and says "I just grabbed IPods, I swear I did not know what was on it!" (again all this hinges on nothing charging out of the house)

(Toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap. The record collection. Most especially, the medicine cabinet. The spice rack in the kitchen. The garden out back.)
"Alright guys, let's note what we see at this house, and come back for the loot once we are safe. If you need a weapon, grab a weapon. Sidearm or sword. We have another house to clean. Brian and Patty, you're entry. We do it like the last house, by the numbers. Room to room. And be careful. There's something as smart as us out here, and it wasn't those three groaners."
(Do we need JIC'S?)

After retrieving his distraction grenade, J.R. starts looking at all the stuff everyone is leaving behind and you can almost see the gears turning in his head. After a moment he attacks the pile of "leavings" with gusto, making two more piles. His "going" pile consists of the Broom and dust pan, Bowling ball inside a carrying case, 4 gloves and balls, Small TV, Hand held game w/16 games, 6 hockey sticks and basic gear, 2 fishing poles and tackles box with basic fishing supplies, Laptop, Game console and TV, 19 games, 2 skateboards, 2 Bicycles, Helmet and safety pads, Exercise equipment. He then looks again and takes all the hockey pads and protective equipment and the skateboarding pads and gear and carries them over to dump them on the hood of his Humvee. Everything else his starts loading into it, or in the case of the larger items lashing it onto the roof.
Afterwards, he goes back to the protective gear collection and announces "Anyone want some anti-zombie armor?" With that, he starts to look to see if he can easily remove one of the hockey face shields and attach it to his kevlar helmet. (at least so it can be removed again, don't want it as a permanent fixture)

Mac loading the gear, keeping an eye out. It got quite since they went through the house; then again, its always quite. One the disturbing things he noticed ever since things kicked off, it was always too damn quiet. Might be because he's so use to the sounds of the road. he'll feel better once they get back moving again and put things behind them.

With the gear stowed away Bryan assumes the point entry position,he tests the door seeing if its locked if not he enters the house the barrel of his shotgun leading the way.Once inside he allows his eyes to adjust to the light, scanning and sweeping the room making sure to pay attention to corners and blindspots.Once the room is assessed and void of danger he says "clear" and continues on further into the home.a
