Matt smirks as he saunters to the front desk. "Fellow of my singular reputation can't be seen too much in public around here. Unless of course it was known I was courtin' a pretty lady what happens to work in these parts." With a quick slight of hand (that Vivian sees through perfectly, of course) the gentleman cowboy produces a single red rose and hands it to you. "But, truth be told I was looking into something with them two ruffnecks what sauntered out of here not long ago. I got some information on'em." He lowers the brim of his hat to cover his eyes and speaks in the gruff, harsh tone he uses as the Dark Rider. "that is, if y'all be interested."

"come on, we can't talk here." Lex grumbledas he motioned for Matt and Vivian to follow him. He went through the back, he told his sister, "Be back in a couple minutes," before going up the stairs and taking a seat at the kitchen table. "Okay, what is so important you had to come here?" At the same time, he pulled out the list and opened it, laying it flat so the others could see it too.

Vivian takes the rose, rolling her eyes to make the point that she is only taking it to be polite, ignoring the fact that rolling her eyes wasn't very polite.. Vivian heads downstairs after Lex and picks up the lists and frowns at Lex in a disapproving manner. "You're doing this again?"

"Not by choice." Lex shook his head. "Those two goons that came in here to talk to me didn't leave me much choice if I want to protect the family business."He shrugged," Besides, they want to go after Marconi, so they can't be all bad, right?"
Lex knew this was exactly the sort of thing they weren't supposed to be into after the late night meeting, but he was in a bind

Matt straightens his tie. "Just being neighbourly. Well, that and following those Galloots what gotten you in such a jam. Figured I might lend a hand or two to help you resolve the situation. In our mutual interests what's all." Matt gives a low whistle as he looks through the lists. "That's enough there for some fine fireworks, might even be enough to start your own war." The cowboy removes his hat. "Perhaps we can follow these polecats some more until we find their hidey-hole and smoke'em out?"

" I think a turf war is exactly what they want." Lex admitted. He looked at the list for the first time, just to see what was doable. He thought for a moment," Look, following them isn't a bad idea, but I think I'm going to have to play this out. Let's try this, Matt, you follow them and see if you can get us an idea on numbers, then be back here well before closing. You and Vivian then get in place and I'll play along when hook nose and his buddies come back. You two jump us in the meeting, and play it hard on me so they don't second guess I'm involved. If things start to get ugly, I'll have my gear stashed close so I can slip into it and help out. But I need a place away from the bakery to do this safely. I don't want them to know where my workshop is. I'll have to try to have some samples ready to show them, probably have enough in stock for that though."

"My car's out back, if you're interested. I'll be waiting." Matt swaggers out the back of the bakery.
Lex, the list is calling for some improved explosives and a fair amount of customized heavy assault hardware. Not a lot of subtlety with this crew.
