The Lanky Arrow is a Lancaster Bomber, modified for sea landings. The bomb bay has been welded shut, and made into a cargo hold. The lower part of the main body has a reinforced flying boat hull, and pontoon supports extend down from the inner pair of engines, where the landing gears were. The the upper, rear and forward turrets remain. Lancaster Flying Boats were first built about 30 years ago, from plans acquired in Otter-Water and then upgraded at The Bridge. Roughly 2-dozen were built, specifically as flying armored cars, transporting gold and heavy minerals under an armed guard. However, the practice of using such planes was discontinued after air pirates and other miscreants started targeting the planes. Now, the wealth is carried in smaller loads, or by paper on a person's person. The Lanky Arrow a tough plane, still on the the top of it's game and with one of the longest ranges in the region.
