Khris couldn't help blush a bit, then cleared his throat before replying,"I think the bullets might put holes in the condoms." he started to snicker.

It is a long flight to Des Moines from Poland. Everyone has time to rest and catch up.
When they land in the midwest, there is a Dodge Mega Cab truck and two motorcycles parked at the airport waiting for them.

Khris couldn't help but smile when he saw the bikes. "Aww Tigger, you always know the quickest way to my heart. Do we have a game plan how to draw out our target? You know if the one we want is responsible for the low crime rate, if I go do something rash, it should draw them out for the rest of you to nab.

"A good plan," Tiger responds. "We'll use it after we make an initial sweep. The area isn't that big by car or motorcycle. We will criss cross the area. Stay alert for any deadening of your abilities. Especially you," she points to Khris.
"If you find anything, call the rest of us and we'll use Khris' plan."
She mounts up on the bike and says to Khris, "Race you there?"

Khris smiled, "sounds like fun. I should be able to feel our dead spot before I am affected by it." He picked up a helmet and slipped it on, then sat on the bike. "Need a head start?"

Tiger takes off. It has been a while since she raced, but she shakes the rust off quickly and she is much lighter than Khris.
Soon the truck hauling the others is left far behind.

Smiling as Tiger tore off, Khris started his own engine and was soon in pursuit. He enjoyed the chance to unwind a bit and shake off all the tension from being cooped up on military bases as they tried to train the kids. As they reced through the city, he let his sensing ability reach out, trying to sense their target.

Khris and Tiger race to and through the target neighborhood quickly. The first pass Khris senses pick up nothing unusual. Dante, Jeckle and the others in the truck find nothing as well.
But the second pass through the run down neighborhood Khris' senses drop. A dead zone where his abilities simply cease. An odd feeling like when you lose your sense of smell from a cold.
The area is run down brick buildings and warehouses, with some cheap apartments over some of them.

When everything went blank on him, it distracted Khris enough he had to slow to prevent a speed wobble. He wasn't used to being without his powers, and it was disorienting. He stopped, and looked around at the neighborhood as he pulled out his phone. He called up the GPS programmed in and marked the location before firing up his bike andattempting to catch Tiger.

The street corner Khris marked has abandoned warehouses on three sides, but one corner has been converted to apartments and just a couple of buildings away there are street level shops and restaurants.
He is able to catch up to Tiger, and by the time he does, his powers have returned.

Once he caught up, and was back to his normal self, he motioned for her to pull over. Once they did, Khris flipped up his visor. " Our target's there all right. It's, don't know how to describe it. sort of like being blindfolded on a nice day, know what I mean? I had to let you go when I nearly dumped the bike."

Tiger nods, "Sounds right." She communicates the coordinates to those in the truck and waits til they arrive.
"Well, shall we search the area first? Or proceed with the baiting plan?"

" A little more recon may not hurt." Khris pointed out. " We'll probly only get one shot at this and then the guy will go to ground on us. We need a location that will give us the best chance at nabbing out negator. I don't suppose we have sattelite support on this? Or at least street level Google Earth to give us an aerial view?"

Tiger calls up some maps. Most of the building's in the area have flat roofs with old heating and air conditioning equipment rusting on top. There are alley ways - empty, no trash cans or cars in sight. So there are six approaches counting the street and alley ways.
She smiles. "I can climb the roof. I'd just jump up, but I'd rather not enter the field mid leap. There are a few ways in and out, but I doubt this guy will just run down the street, so that leaves four alleys are potential escape routes...."
