When Marv walked away from him without a word or any help for that matter, Khris was tempted to say something but instead bit his tongue and stalked away. He made his way to the base landing pad. Entering the flight controller's office, he held out his identification, "Morning sir. I need a ride to the airport. Need to catch a flight to Stockholm soon as possible."

Dante is a little upset by Katja's under estimating his ability to understand her explanation, but he knows she must be the kind of person that simply feels superior to everyone else.
He says, "your immortality is not a result of a power or ability, but rather a genetic trait that is as much a part of you as your hair color. I can understand that completely."
He walks away from her having had enough for the time being. He tries to follow Khris, interested in what he was up to.
"Hey Khris, whats going," he yells towards his back as he leaves.

" Huh? " Khris said, a bit surprised when Dante called out to him, "Oh, uh, hey, just about to head out. I'm not part of the training group anymore, so Tigger gave me a side project to keep me out of trouble. Just trying to catch a flight out of here. Getting things settled in we the new team member?"

Rock watches the training, occassionally encouraging Dancer, Peacemaker and Merrow. He doesn't seem disappointed to no longer be a pilot. His attitude seems more like an injured athlete who cheers on his team from the sideline, even as he concentrates on his own rehab.
After the three girls complete three hours of martial arts training, Dancer and Peacemaker change into swim suits and get into a big pool with Merrow for an hour of team work drills. And after that is done, Dancer, Peacemaker and Merrow report to the giant robots where they practice shield generation.
As he walks to the observation deck, Rock looks to see if Katja will be joining them for the shield generation session.

If requested then yes Katja will be joining the group but otherwise looks to the primary reason she is there. As such she sits next to Rock if he lets her and waits for him to speak.

"Yes I am the new doctor and I was called in due to someone having some issues with certain things after a failed test. That is in essence why I am here. Why do you ask?"

"I just like to know what I'm facing," Rock says, his eyes on the test. Dancer's sheild is blinding, and gauges bury their needles and digital displays read 888. Peacemaker's numbers using the negation device aren't quite as impressive. She is still measureable. But the strength is nearly at the level the scientists are confident, this time, will withstand the Demon's field of death. Peacemaker exits and gives the device to Merrow. Merrow is less impressive, but she still makes good progress. At this rate they could be ready in a week or two of training. Rock watches their training carefully.

Dante shrugs, "she doesn't need me. I get the impression she doesn't think I'm smart enough to help her. You heading off base then?"

Dante nods slowly, disapointment apparent. He knows with the testing of the device, plus what recently happened with the American's he is probably expected to stay. "That sounds like more fun than staying here and baby sitting the new doctor and that fancy trinket. At least find someone who's decent at playing poker will ya," he says before waving, "safe travels, we'll hold things down here."

"Look man, you don't want to galavanting around with me, you've got invested interest here, not to mention Bel would kill me if something happened to you." Khris said, forcing a grin. "I'm just dead weight around here, getting in the way and taking paychecks from the locals. It's not like I'm going on some foolish adventure, it's just go meet with some officers, find the right team, beat it back here. You will probly have more fun than I will.

Dante holds up his hands in defense, "yeah I'm in no rush to go globe trotting with you, was just feeling cramped with the new team mate in. Don't worry about me, I'll see if I can grab Bel for some alone time later. Have fun on your trip," he says before heading back off toward the group he left behind.
As he approaches he says, "any progress?"
