Chapter 68: Now to get outta here! (Team)

Isamu says, "now you understand why I stated I would go first. She was rather angry when she left,. She may blame me for what she has endured here. I do not wish she take that out on anyone else."

He pauses and then repeats his yell, "DECEMBER THIS IS ISAMU, WE ARE HERE TO HELP!"

This could be a trick but I could be wrong. Help will be here to heal Raig which is what is needed. As such following her gut Deci drops her blast and puts down moving Raig to a place for easier access.

"I am down here. I need a medic!" she yeslls back.

Isamu relaxes a little when December called out. He yells back, "WE ARE TRYING TO GET THROUGH THIS ICE. TREVOR IS MELTING IT SLOWLY. UNLESS YOU CAN HELP, IT WILL TAKE US SOME TIME TO GET DOWN TO YOU. AVERY IS HERE, HE CAN HELP ONCE WE GET DOWN."

"I DO NOT HAVE A WAY OF DROPPING IT FASTER OTHER THEN RELEASING MY POWER. IT WILL STILL BE THERE BUT HOPEFULLY MELT WITHOUT BEREFT OF MY POWER SLOWING IT DOWN." With that not even realizing how cold it is drops her powers and allows for the heat to do its work.

Pointing one of the pistols at one of Deth's kneecaps.
"Of course I would not kill you, but would you like to test me on what I will do? Maybe you should try to escape and we will see. That would be fun."

"Sorry, English Major. My handwriting sucks." Tom smirks and he looks at Long. "You want me to give him another spin?"

"Why escape? My lawyers will have us free in an hour." Deth scoffed. " And you and your flaming accomplice over there will be in custody for murdering his girlfriend. The house burned I heard, and funny, look what his powers can do." He began to laugh. " Do what you want tin can, We're going to press brutality charges anyways."


Trevor continued melting the ice, stair after stair clearing. " I wasn't there when she left. Remember, I was busy getting framed?"

In the hole, Deci could tell they were getting closer. She could see the ice was melting, a trickle of water flowing across the floor now.
Towards their escape route.
Where Raig had electrocuted himself.

"Once I explain what happened and with the team here to back me up. You really think they are going to believe you, a known crime syndicate thug, over me, a cop? But do not worry. Even though you are going to jail for...ever, you will not be in there alone. Denial will be coming in right behind you. I will take care of it personally. And if he is as easy to take down as your whole team here this should be wrapped up before dinner time."

Deci sees the water heading towards the electrical wires and realizes she has to act before they all get electrocuted. As such she puts him Raig down for the moment and walks over to create a cap on the wires and barring that a wall to prevent water to get there.

Also to make extra sure they are safe she moves Raig to the middle of the room underneath the wall of ice and makes a table out of ice just in case her other safety things do not work. "YOU MIGHT WANT TO BE CAREFUL, RAIG WAS ELECTROCUTED WHY I NEED MEDICAL!"

Tom squirms a little bit. His own discomfort with being in Control's service still bothering him. He hauls them away.

[Dome]

Isamu puts a rocky hand on Trevor, "stop. If more ice is melted there will be more water. If there is something that can electrocute down there, and water touches it, we may have a problem."

Isamu looks at the ice remaining and says, "we may just have to knock the rest of the wall down."

He yells out, "WE WILL TRY AND KNOCK DOWN THE REST OF THE ICE INSTEAD." He then attempts to slam his fist into the wall to see how much effort this is going to take.

Sierra nearly jumps as Tom comes to herd her prisoner away. 'be careful. i can't hear anything. might need to gag him or something. i can't hear anything . . but i'm more than willing to help you move them . . . i'm really PO'd right now. is everyone alright?'

Trevor looked at the their progress. It was hard to tell how far down the stairwell went, but they only had seven stais showing. " Going to have to weaken it to bust a hole through that. I say we get Deci to freeze the run off and keep going."

Deth laughed at Long," Such an optimist. You still don't get it, do you? How do you stop Denial if you don't know who he is? He'll just bide his time and start over." He abruptly stopped as Tom began to herd them away (where to?)

Avi beckoned Sierra closer before replying, looking right at her so she could read his lips," It will wear off in a little while. I can't help heal this."

Deci could tell the fire had stopped melting the ice

"Do we have a transit for these guys?" Tom asks.

[Dome]

Isamu nods and yells back down at Deci, "WE HAVE TO KEEP MELTING, THERE IS TOO MUCH ICE AND NO OTHER WAY! YOU WILL HAVE TO FREEZE THE RUN OFF DECEMBER!"

He waits for her response then tells Trevor, "proceed. I will return in a moment, I want to check with the others."

He walks away leaving Trevor to get back to his ice melting since it seems like it may take some time. He walks over towards Tom and the prisoners. "What is our status here? We found December, however she is behind a large wall of ice this will take some time."

He looks at the prisoners and says to the group (Avery, Tom, Sierra, Siobhan, basically anyone that answers him) "has anyone heard from Beth? Has she contacted the federal Agencies as I requested? I want these people placed into federal custody, not local."
